Dawnguard and Future DLC Discussion - Thread #32

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 6:39 pm

For dawnguard im honestly hoping for 2-3 more guilds and an expansion of the main quest. Maybe a few more shouts?
I agree with the guilds part, but no more stuff about being Dragonborn, or dragons I am done with that crap it is boring.

A few more shouts would be interesting, or perhaps new options for using Dragon Souls - perhaps there could be some kind of power or function other than shouts that uses souls? I also like the idea of more guilds, though I would also like to see the existing guilds expanded somewhat.

Not sure this has been mentioned or discussed, but it seems that Dawnguard is somekind of faction. if you look at the general stats and find the quest part of it. you can see it already tallies how many Dawnguard quests you have completed.

There were nafta-based bombs thorough the middle ages so indeed that could be neat  Greek fire and such.
I think you mean 'naptha'. I don't believe the North American Free Trade Agreement was around in antiquity.

Yes. When? TBA. Usually after a patch came out of beta for PC users, it went live for the console users.

it would be kwl if we could start a fellowship of followers in one of the next tes games and they would talk to each other much like the characters in dragons age lol.

That's a feature that's been missed horribly. The world feels dead without REAL characters.

I wouldn't mind, if it is in Morrowind, having an optional dragonborn quest involving Ahbiilok or another named dragon that we havn't seen or killed yet.

I say they will make 3 -4 Point lookout-to near shivering ilses sized expansions. And i would say the later ones will explore the Dwemer , Talos and Lorkhan and the Thalmor more.

Im still betting on it being a Vamp hunter faction.

I would like now to share a traumatism that underlies and undermines my forumer's life for too long now. I hesitated a long time before finding the courage to say it... But now, I can't hold it for myself anymore...

When I came on the forums for the first time... I didn't receive a fishy stick...

:(

In fact... in fact... I ... I... never did ...

It's okay, Naphta is also an english term indicating the heavier fractions of distilled diesel oil.

Greek fire was a mixture of turpentine, crude oil (recovered from natural occuring spills) and tar

It most likely is. Probably some kind of pro vampire or anti vampire group.

Only a few more days until E3 and showing of Dawnguard. Can't wait to see what is there. I hope the dlc is released reasonably soon afterwards though.

Maybe they'll finally add Karliah's thieves guild armor as something we can attain/wear by humble means.

I really do hope we get some good info on dawnguard. They have teased us for months now.

My worst fear is that zenimax online is given more time due to their new game announcement and bethesda is allowed a quick teaser trailer that tells us nothing except when to expect more info...

gah, i hate my iphones laggy keyboard... I have to fix every other post I make...

...so we still know pretty nothing about dawnguard and...

is there already a thread for it?

hard days are waiting us...

They trademarked Hearth Fire? There's a holiday celebrating Necromancy that month, called Tales and Tallows.

What annoys me is we the customers are the Reason Bethesda are making their games, and we have to wait for even a drop of info for the product we are paying for.
At what makes things worse is we won't be seeing anything in E3, only ''invited'' game journalists are allowed to see the DLC.

Yea and...

Khurat
  • Hearth Fire 6th
Every town and fellowship in the Wrothgarian Mountains celebrates Khurat, the day when the finest young scholars are accepted into the various priesthoods. Even those people without children of age go to pray for the wisdom and benevolence of the clergy.

Nocturnal's Summoning Day
  • Hearthfire 8th
In Daggerfall, this is the Summoning Day for Nocturnal.

Riglametha
  • Hearth Fire 12th
Riglametha is celebrated on the twelfth of Hearth Fire every year in Lainlyn as a celebration of Lainlyns many blessings. Pageants are held on such themes as the Ghraewaj, when the daedra worshippers in Lainlyn were changed to harpies for their blasphemy.

Children's Day
  • Hearth Fire 19th
Children's Day in Betony is a festive occasion with a grim history. All know though few choose to recall that Children's Day began as a memorial to the dozens of children in Betony who were stolen from their homes by vampires one night never to be seen again. This happened over a hundred years ago, and the holiday has since become a celebration of youth.

Not to mention there are few books with Hearth Fire in the title.
