Is there a way to give Jack a gun from the start of the game? Could be amusing to replay the first chapters with a weapon.

Hi.So far, this is really an impressive piece of work you guys have assembled here. Thanks for that. What I was wondering: Is there any way to implement a screenshot feature into the game? "ALT + Print" gets a screenshot, but as soon as I "alt + TAB" the game, it crashes. It's a bit of pain in the *hey hey* to always restart the bugger for one single screenshot.Earlier in this thread you said that running it with 256 colours and as Win95 compatible might prevent the crashing, however, in this case it just prevents the actual game from starting (i.e: I get to the main menu, but as soon as I load a save state or start a new game, it crashes).I really hope I'm not breaking any community rules or netiquette because my first post is a request... if I do, I apologize for that.

The only change is made to the main exe for removing the film grain.Restoring your backup should sort this. The only other thing I can think of is you copied the patched exe to a different location and are still running that from your icon.

A big "Thank You" for the patch... I couldn't get away from the piston-style shoggoth in the refinery without it, and although it's neither big nor clever, I resorted to God Mode when dealing with Dagon.:)

Running means normal movement speed as opposed to a slower walking speed. It's just the common terminology.

What I meant was, I thought there was only normal movement, and crouching movement. Is there a third movement speed?

Not unless you count stealth mode as a movement speed, no.

Hi, great work with the patches. I wanted to know if someone noticed the bug when you lean right standing next to a wall. You'll notice that you trasspas the wall and can see the construction of the map. Is there any patch for that? Thank you.

nope. there ain't - this patch as far as i'm aware just deals with feature-type stuff, rather than actual bugs, since they're unofficial and not provided by Headfirst, who are bankrupt, to my knowledge.course, i might be wrong ;)

As it turns out, they both seem to be bankrupt. Hip Interactive went first and apparentlly dragged Headfirst down, too.Game industry articles:http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=5894http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=10059http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?section_name=dev&aid=11862http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=15767

You have to load the executable into the patcher by clicking on the "Load" button. If you did a normal install, the correct folder should be displayed, if not, you'll have to search it out in the Program Files folder.EDIT: Also, remember to click the "Save" button after making changes to put them in effect.
