Glad to see Bethesda/Obsidian are hitting another home run with music selection. Sinatra is a must, but so is Dean Martin! :fallout:

As I mentioned above, Game Informer has exclusivity for new info it seems. So until this month's issue is released, we'll most likely not have any info.
Like it had exclusivity with Oblivion and Fallout 3.

Game Informer and Bethesda like making money together, that's for sure. :D

Actually it's OXM doing the releasing, not GameInformer. :poke:

Oh, that's a surprise. I was sure GI and Beth were still shaking hands.
Then OXM made them an offer they couldn't refuse. :P

Also: It's confirmed to be single player only. One other tidbit is that when asked about the sys requirements Beth doesn't give an answer possibly meaning that the game will have different requirements than that of Fo3.

I wouldn't worry about all the lights. The video was 'shot' at night, so if there hadn't been any lights, we wouldn't have been able to see the city. It probably was that lit to make it show up in the darkness. A special effect, if you will.

It is entirely possible that the Hoover Dam did not get destroyed so it could still be providing electricity. Most strategic targets in the area are North and Northwest of Vegas so that part of the region could have been ignored.

Hehe, it's kind of funny that after all of the comparisons Borderlands had to Fallout 3, the first thing that the new robot makes people think is "Claptrap!"

Since a machine that could run Oblivion well can run Fallout 3 well I would say that New Vegas will be of the same level of requirements. Possiblly need more graphics horsepower to handle all the lights that Vegas is famous for. I would say that they are holding off on the requirements because they are still tweaking shaders and light sources. In the past games, the more lights there are in a cell (not actual lamps, but sources of light) the more performance is needed. Sometimes modding a cell to remove 50% of the sources would leave a cell that you could still see things in, just not as rich in color and shadow. However frame rates would more than double in those certain cells.

However if you can run Fallout now, I would venture to say that you could run Vegas.

This would make alot of sense, only a Direct nuclear hit to the Dam could bring down the Hoover - its literally as solid as a mountain.

I noticed the Very lit-up city too - gotta be big power in there somewhere!

Maybe the guy\gal at the end is the CHOSEN ONE's son or daughter, cause as we all know the CHOSEN ONE could have made some women...pregnant in F2 :P

Hell yes! Especially in that Helghast armor. But I wonder if the enclave will be there, and the Brotherhood of steel. Maybe Obsidian could make a faction system like in Oblivion. You can join NCR, Enclave and the BS. That would be cool!

I just hope its 3d and you can switch from first and third person. And that its story line doesnt involve the Main character dying until some broken dlc comes out.

Oh hell yes.

Funny, though, how much it resembles the Fallout 3 trailer. Starts out peacefully with the 50's music, then pans out to show a post-apoc landscape, and then switches to the eerie FO3 theme with a mysterious guy standing in the foreground.
