Dead Money should be good but I would be dumbfounded if there aren't any bugs in the DLC.

i hope it comes to ps3 soon after......... but what i don't get is that they shouldv'e made this into a huge expansion pack for 20 dollars adding in the whole Los Angelos

and i hope you can tele their unlike fallout 3 where you had to go into the dlc then you can tele

ohhh and i hope you can bring your companions..... plus 1 house their because maybe you like the environment and want to live their...... i wonder if we can own a casino in dead money......

I'm fine with them milking the Xbots for money for DLC while the game is still buggy as sh*t. Maybe they'll make enough to fix the original f*cking game for those of us who made the mistake of buying the game for the PS3 before they try to sell us the crap DLC in 6 months.

Where's the "substantial patch" they promised weeks ago when they released the last "patch"?

PC users got the best deal, community members who can mod better than Obsidian can develop.

Thank God Bethesda will be making Fallout 4.

Dead Money?

Yes. I'm willing to do that. When it becomes available on PS3s and PCs, they aren't getting any money from me.

Like boycott Dead Money with dead money
What, exactly, does Microsoft have to do with either of those games or the decisions of their developers?

MS makes no profit from DLCs for PCs. There is absolutely no reason for them to pay to support the platform in that manner.

MS hate games which does not tied with MGWL.....but they never think why people hate it......

I care since I'm on the 360. :)

It might be a timed exclusive deal which means PC might get it as well.

You expect Microsoft out of all companies to change?

Seeing as the setting has you searching for 'The Treasure of the Sierra Madre', they should allow you to try to give the Sunset Sarsaparilla Deputy Badges to someone threatening to kill you, with the obvious response of "Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!".

Why do they "deserve" it? PC gamers get screwed right and left these days when it comes to games and content. I think its only fair that we get the ability to mod our games. We simply thought that Bethesda was one of the last developers that had our backs. That is at least partly why we are so up in arms about it. Besides, why should we be punished because we choose to use the gaming platform that is conducive to modding? We all know the real reason here, and its all about Micro$oft's money. This is why even console users who use the PS3 are being screwed. Its not really about who has the better platform, or about who deserves the DLC the most. Xbox users are being favored simply because the console they use is put out by Micro$oft, Bethesda's new buddy that they are so overjoyed (according to Pete Hines) to be partnered up with. And this is what Micro$oft wants.

Just how exactly are PC gamers getting screwed when it comes to games and content? Is it because they have more games and content available? Or is it because the quality of said games are better than their console bretheren? Or could it be that you dont like getting all the updates first through steam? Or is it all of the awesome PC exclusives? Im not sure if you're aware of this but these companys are also known as businesses, and believe it or not their primary concern is to make their shareholders happy. And what you seem to be complaining about is called capitalism, and i hate to break it to you but thats the economic system we've been useing for hundreds of years.

I have seen a lot of members tell tales of re-playing the old fallout games on pc and it makes me a little jealous. ( Even more then not being able to mod )
Being on xbox it would be nice to see them on arcade to download maybe with improved visuals?
This would be more attractive then " Dead Money ".

Yes they do.

Fallout 3 was the buggiest game when it first came out.

That was what im talking about, Fallout 3 wasnt the good game when it was released, it got better with the latest patches, Fallout 4 can be a good game, but nobody can assure that the game isnt gonna have bugs,

Well I'd say PC gamer do get screwed alot of the time. They have to get dumbed down games because they are held back by lower standard console specs. Plus we get crappy UI alot of the times because of console left overs too. :P

Has this been confirmed? There is no way they would release one so soon, and with so many issues left in the base game. Plus up to and after release they said they planned DLC, but not for a while. I dont except any till like Feb or March at least.

While im an xbox player i have to agree, but with console owners money they will be able to make more games in the series?
What i am more worried about is TES V,
If it comes out soon it will be as you said good to console players but maybe not as good as it could be for pc players?
On the other hand if they push it away for a year or so it might be part of the next generation of consoles and everybody wins?

Difference is Bethesda gets on the ball and fixes their games.

Obsidian?

Fans had to fix NWN2 with mods even after Obsidian's "patches".

Fans had to fix KotOR 2 with mods even after Obsidian's "patches".

Nobody fixed Alpha Protocol, Obsidian and SEGA left it to rot and ran wih what little money it made them.

And fans are having to fix Fallout New Vegas on PC while ( the console people are stuck) Obsidian is busy trying to sell DLC crap.

So I'll take Bethesda's "bugginess" over Obsidian any day.

Obsidian need to stop making anything but PC games, as they cannot make ANY game without relying on patches and fan mods.

Sorry to hear that but that doesnt means that Bethesda have better development, Oblivion for example, not even with the official patches cant be played without the anoying bugs

as for the patch, another team is working in the patch, its gonna be released maybe before the DLC or at the same time

Not to derail, but the Unofficial Oblivion Patch currently stands at more than 128MB in size and over 1800 fixes.

It plays great, but perfect is a bit of a stretch.

You'll find a majority of those 1800 "fixes" were nothing more than implementations of the teams opinions of how things should be and not pure fixing of broken systems.

Big difference between the Unofficial Oblivion Patch and what is needed for Fallout: New Vegas.

Compared to the mess known as Fallout: New Vegas and its official patches, Oblivion with just its official patches IS perfect, and perfectly playable, in comparison.

Anyway, it just astonishes me to see people even caring about who gets to pay more money for DLC for a broken game. And the fact Obsidian cares more about getting that money from the DLC rather than first fixing the original game they already soaked $50-$60 from people for is just laughable.
