Microsoft should still make it exclusive to Windows as well, it's their own OS.

But there's no profit involved in that for them. Why would they do that?

If this is ever released on PC/PS3, it will be long enough from now that I won't care.

Either I will have moved on to greener pastures, or there will be user mods enough that I won't notice.

The biggest factor in purchasing DLC for me was GFWL... they fixed that by switching to Steam, but then won't release at all now. Kind of a bad taste in my mouth. I forgave them for "Horse Armor" and bought all Oblivion DLC.

Bottom line is, they're basically telling me they do not want my money. And I will happily oblige.

The thing that i dont understand is, they moved from GFWL to Steam, and now they only put their first release at XBOX360?

gamesas will play the same game the did with the FO3 DLC's with NV. Wait a year to farm it out to a 3rd party like they did for PS3 users so were so burnt out we barely care anymore, or hope the people who held off buying NV in October, 2010 will wait another year to buy the ultra collection with whatever DLC's trickle to the PS3.

I wish it was easier to learn if a game is console based (and just ported to PC) before I bought it.

I could avoid sillyness like this and being slapped for being a PC gamer by never buying such games in the first place.

I loved the whole Fallout series, but if I knew they were going to do this to me, I would have voted with my wallet.

I am used to being screwed over by game companies as a PS3 user, a recent example is COD Black Opps which was pretty much designed for the Xbox with the PS3 and PC as an afterthaught, but this is very dissapointing! Why release the game for all systems then limit who can get the downloadable content, obviously some large $'s have changed hands but where is the loyalty? I have been buying and playing Bethesda games going back to Arena in the early 90s and this is just a slap in the face! I am sick of Micro$oft muscleing companies to their bidding but it is also up to those game companies to keep the playing field level by not making exclusive content not accessible by the other systems users! Really hope the money was worth it guys! :banghead:

"We're pleased to give fans a chance to expand their experience in Fallout: New Vegas this December with Dead Money," said Pete Hines, VP of PR and Marketing for Bethesda Softworks. "The release of Dead Money illustrates our commitment to creating entertaining add-on content for players to enjoy in already massive games like Fallout: New Vegas."

Correction Pete, your committed to making some more $'s off Microsoft and completely block off a large segment of your market at the same time, congrats, your dedication to Microsoft is unwavering! You should change 'fans' to 'Xbox users' btw!

/Rant Over!"

I'm sure quest mods created by the community will be better anyway, so Micro$oft can eat [censored].

Actually, there are already 3 different quest mods created by the community that are better then what this DLC seems to be.

It's not hate, it's an observation dependant on the very limited info we have about the DLC
First off, alittle over half of us FONV players won't get the DLC for however long it remains excusive to xbox, (a month,... a year,... who knows). So any mod quest is better than that.
Secondly, we really have been very little info about the story of the DLC, ok so its a bank robbery, (something like that), gone wrong. Its kind of hard to judge how good or bad it will be with so little info.
But mainly I was giving kudos to the great modders out there who in less than 3 months, have already come up with a few very good quest mods.

What if they announce an exclusive DLC story for each Console only offered to PC as both . Kinda like they did for The DLC for where you bought your Game from ?

PS3 DLC PLEASE!!

For reals? I'm sure it's a time released exclusive, but it just bites. I'd be itching for some hot level 35 action. It svcks to wait and find out that you didn't shell out for the "right" version of the same game. I guess it will all come together in the end, but I guess it won't be on my list for Christmas.

You have to use a save from before you completed the main quest line. AKA the save you should have made at the "point of no return" warning. ;)

I still don't get why Microsoft hates Windows gamers now. Tween locking out the X360 controller for Windows on things like Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect, and this DLC crap, they seem to actively hate us who have stuck with the Games for Windows platform.

What, exactly, does Microsoft have to do with either of those games or the decisions of their developers?

MS makes no profit from DLCs for PCs. There is absolutely no reason for them to pay to support the platform in that manner.

So yeah a guy asked in a thread that was closed down and linked here to give us a trailer.
Didn't we get the trailers for some of the DLC's after they got released?
