Don't want to seem *** but what about a courier love story? The courier and the vault guy (or girl) from fallout 3 seem to be the loneliest persons on the planet. They meet all these different characters yet all they get to do is have random six and move on to the next. Don't get me wrong, it's the ultimate bachelor life but c'mon! There has to be a point where these people are fighting for something more than to just save New Vegas or fight the enclave just for the hell of it. It doesn't have to be solely about his love story but throw it in one of the future dlc's. It doesn't have to be a new character (or maybe it does?). Walking around New Vegas (and other parts) like the No.1 Badazz is cool but I'd like a lil more depth to my character. Then again, in "Lonesome road" aren't we supposed to find out a lil more about the characters past? I'm just lookn to find some old school love story where you have to fight for the "damsel in distress". Maybe half way through it she can become your companion and you kick azz together.

Begin Flaming...

I have a huge list that I compiled myself that can make a huge difference. Feel free to add to it if you have any ideas! However, make sure the idea is understandable and realistic!

EXTREME MODE -- AN INTENSE MODE SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR SKILLED FALLOUT PLAYERS!
NOTE: All times are game hours/minutes!
> Sleep Deprivation, Hunger, and Dehydration

- SLP, FOOD, and H2O now increases more quickly.
-- SLP increments: 100pts/4 hrs, or 10/1 hr, or 1,000pts in 40 hrs.
-- FOOD increments: 100pts/2 hrs, or 10/12 min, or 1,000pts in 20 hrs.
-- H2O increments: 100pts/1 hr 30 min, or 10/9 min, or 1,000pts in 15 hrs.

- Commonplace foods and their SLP, FOOD, and H2O increases/decreases are now increased/reduced.
-- Sunset Sarsaparilla: +5 H2O ---> +17 H2O.
-- Nuka-Cola: +10 H2O ---> +15 H2O.
-- Purified Water: -50 H2O ---> -30 H2O.
-- Dirty Water: -50 H2O ---> -23 H2O.
-- Gecko Kebab: -50 FOOD ---> -30 FOOD.
-- They are more, but I don't feel like putting them down. Besides, I think you get the point.

> Crafting-related

- At the campfire, several recipes now require more than one skill in order to make it.
-- Example: To craft a stimpak, you need at least 80 Medicine, 75 Science, and 50 Survival , and super stimpak requires 100 Medicine, 85 Science, and 60 Survival.

> Bartering-related

- Selling the right item(s) to the right vendor now applies, no matter how high your Barter is. Unless the item is very valuable.
-- Example: Selling pre-war books to the Gun Runners will be to no value.

- Whenever you have equipped valuable items (e.g. Combat Armor), more human hostilities will be tempted to kill you for the item(s).
-- Example: Fiends will ransack you more often around Outer New Vegas and even more near New Vegas Ruins and their territories.

- Valuable items, like Combat Armors, is now priced significantly if any vendor sells the item(s). This includes regular and special/surplus ammunition.
-- Example: .44 Magnum Revolvers are now around +6000 caps over 2500 caps.
-- Another Example: Combat Armor, Reinforced Mark 2 are now around +17000 caps over 8000 caps.
-- Selling/buying valuable items to any vendor will be introduced to a full Barter ignore. However, this can be prevented if you have a perfect speech.

> Health-Related

- Doctor's healing services now charges a lot more.
-- Rad-reduction service now charges 250 caps and instant HP and limb recovery service now charges 450 caps.
-- To avoid the high prices, on some doctors you can pass a difficult medicine check (at least 80) to reduce the fee in half.

- Hydra is a bit more commonplace on Medicine-concerned vendors and Doctors. However in exchange, it is more pricey (100caps over 55caps).

- Stimpaks now contract a debuff after 2 doses. And after 5 doses, you'll contract an Overdose syndrome.
-- Stimpak Debuff: -1 END, -1 PER, -40 Max HP (all 1min)
-- Stimpak Overdose Syndrome: -60 Max HP, -2 END, -1 PER, -1 Agility (all 1min)
-- All defects can be cured by using an Antivenom.

- Sunset Sarsparilla now has a small addiction rate: +5% per bottle drunk. However, it is lowered by -3% every 10 minutes whilst not drinking Sunset Sarsasparilla.
-- The addiction can be cured temporarily with Fixer.

> New Stuff

- "Rust" Effect: When equipped with a weapon/armor, they'll be exposed to the "Rust" effect. This effect is applied after prolonged exposure to the outside elements. The Rust Effect influences condition slowly. The rate will be -1% every 30minutes, or 10% every 5hrs, or 50% after 25hrs.
-- The Rust Effect's longevity rate can be raised significantly if the weapon is applied with the Heavy Frame mod or a Rust-Resistant Frame mod. Or the Rust Effect may not be applied ever on Rust-Resistant-labeled items.

Sorry if the list is a bit too big! Because of size problems, I couldn't be able to put in every idea. But I guess other people can extend this.

I don't know if we will get any more DLC but I do have an idea for one.

The Legendary Vault Zero.

Hidden away beneath the hot sands of Death Valley is a legendary vault, a Vault secretly designed by Vault Tec as the place where all of it's most important documents and weaponry were to go. Some of those things made it to the vault but before they got everything in there Oct 2077 happened and Vault Tec abadoned their plan. However unknown to Vault Tec another group had interest in that vault, that group is The Enclave. This Enclave (Code named Enclave Zero) had specific orders from the President Of The USSA to preserve the history of this nation, preserve the nation itself, guard the secrets of what Vault Tec was doing, and after a certain amount of years head out and reclaim the country. The Enclave went forward with this task and early on was successful however a mutiny occured and some of the members split off and went back with the main Enclave group up at Poseidon.

Enclave Zero went forward with their plans and kept their watch over the Vault and it lasted that way for around 150 years. Around the time of Fallout 2 (2241) a group of Brotherhood Of Steel members found the entrance to the vault and entered it but were attacked by the Enclave Zero. One Of the Paladins was able to esacpe and sent a coded Radio message asking for help however nobody got the message until 40 years later when a certain Courier got the message on it's Pip boy.

"This is a priority Distress call, Our group is under attack by the Enclave but they are different from the ones over in Navarro. They are much more cunning and have more powerful weaponry, Sir if you are receiving this you must alert the other Brotherhood Of Steel members and have them come to Death Valley and stop this group".

The Courier then has to figure out ok where are the Brotherhood Of Steel and how do I get to Death Valley/Vault Zero. At that point your pip boy radio gets the frequency of another Brotherhood Of Steel Paladin who was sent by the Head BOS in Cali to figure out what's going on with the Mojave BOS. You meet up with him, have him listen to the message, then he tells you to head to Death Valley by way of a tunnel Northwest Of New Vegas. You then have to head to the Vault and take out the Enclave, although it's a bit more complicated and not as simple to do when the Courier eventually makes it there.

I think there needs to be a quest pack dlc. One that adds quests to all the minor factions like followers off the apocalypse, boomers and the brotherhood of steel. This could have about two quests per group. One quest would be a normal and another retrieve a certain item as much as possible, like fallout 3's retrieving cameras.

I'd love a quest pack.
I know some people are against "packs" but I honestly see it as a better way to expand the "main game" than DLC's as those are just game within a game toybox side-adventures.
A quest pack could really enhance the overall replayability as well and hopefully give some new ending sliders to the main game too.

The Boomers get some kinda fuel from maize, look in one of their bunker houses on the west side of Nellis.

I'd like there to be something that I can do with the PILES of caps I have lying around. maybe invest in a small town - shops, guards, farming etc etc. Maybe you could become the mayor or something. I dunno, I've just got all this money, and nothing to do with it.

How about this for a new DLC... You travail to a town or city that is in dire straits. the people here need a leader a protector. Just as it was in Fallout 3 the capital wasteland DC area. For example. There could be lets say factions or tribes within this city or town. Your task or quest would be to convince them to pull together and be prepared to fight the invasion or evil that is coming...But before this can happen. You would need to prove to them that you here to help and not to take...and There could be undiscovered locations or areas within this city or town. That my have technology that will help in the fight....weapons,ammo,power armor,medicine. Of course this wouldn't be easy.There would be new enemy's or old ones from before....
