Really? Never done that actually. Well I'm off to join the brotherhood with my werewolf character.

Yeah, it's a nice feature.

Does anyone know if Babette acknowledges you being a vampire if you are one when you first join?

As far as I know, no she does not which is sort of a shame since they had Arbjorn acknowledges you as a werewolf.

I heard Babette acknowledges you in dawnguard and you see her out in the wild getting a "snack".

I think a 300 year old woman would have some objections to being "adopted."

What are you talking about, Babette is a little girl who just happens to be extremely old so I do not see how you can call her a woman since technically she is still a girl.

I some what think that werewolves are fine how they are... although I would love to use all the totems not just one at a time.

If bethesda adds Lunar transformations and the option to get infected by wild werewolves, then I'll be able to say werewolves are "fine" but they'll have to add werebears for me to be completely satisfied about how lycanthropy is in Skyrim

"Real" werewolves are suppose to get lunar transformations and two at-will tranformations per day. Werewolves should kill people to sate their bloodlust otherwise their health slowly saps away(this has been done in Daggerfall and Bloodmoon). Transformations at the full moons should of been from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

The Ring of Hircine can be equiped to control these tranformations to prevent players from shifting out into werewolf form. Human form powers should be enhanced; faster character, longer stamina bar, werewolf sight and etc.
