Sizeable is an understatement, half the disc is empty, actually over half the disc. :swear:
Well true I know it was a bit of an understatement I wished we had more than this game offers, I think it was directly related to the release date and the fact that the 11-11-11 date will not happen again for the next hundred years and they just had to have Skyrim released on that day.

Or their heads would -explode- lol. The game actualy did get pushed back, I still have a video on my xbox saying the release date was later, and then suddenly it got put back to 11 11 11......someone pressured them.

They dont have to have a deadline, several games did this, Far Cry 3 is an example, they had an open deadline.

Its sad what we got just for a simple date.
I hope they give themselves more time and they take the time to add to their future games and fill them with rewarding content and polish.

Oh I do to I am pretty sure Bethesda is done with these consoles, I hope that they greatly expand on them and add RAM and whatever else they need to update what future games they create. I hope I have my PC by then, then I can wait about a year before I get whatever new console they make.

New consoles cost 600- 700 dollars upward, so they would need to be on par with pc's that cost that much AT LEAST.

They were seriously considering waiting for the new consoles anyway, so they're definitely through with the 360 and PS3
they just felt confident they could work one last TES game in on this generation

I hope the morons lower the price to what sony tried to pull last cycle it was a joke I was laughing at them when they showed the PS3 with its price point and talking about it like its the greastest thing on the planet and look where it is in the console race. They should be on par with a PC that cost that much, when try to build be a good PC I am going to try and get a few years staying power in that thing for games like Skyrim and my ES games.

Maybe allow us to add parts to the new consoles to improve performance? Official parts, I think that would be great. People already do this unofficially. Hell, I have one with many many many new parts, just not my online one because they can catch that.

I remember them saying that now that you posted that, I have certain expectation from Bethesda because they have made games that have captivated me likie no other and I by far have played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout 3 more than any game out there and I hope they can redeem theirselves with Skyrim and beyond.

That would be awesome and that would increase the console lives for sure I wish they gave us that option: yeah and they blacklist those people, I would never try that for fear of my account.

At least Sony lets you upgrade the HDD in a PS3. I have an SSD running in mine.

I have just one, and I do not think there is anything like that in the states none I am aware of anyways there must be one somewhere. Sounds like you got a good deal there tho and you can have the part repaired that goes bad.

But the RAM is still absolutely unacceptable in the PS3, twice as bad as the 360....and thats -bad-.

SSD? WHat is that not real technical here lol. I wish they let you upgrade more than that however.

Is it a bigger harddrive?

I think it's more the issue of the developers not knowing how to utilize the memory structure of the PS3. They could have gotten Sony to help them.

It is a solid state drive. They are much faster than a spinning disk. Although I am told that the PS3 does not have the capacity to take full advantage of the speed of an SSD, I have noticed much faster loading times on my PS3 once I installed it. A lot of folks installed them after the whole PS3 "lag" fiasco because the SSD can handle virtual RAM much faster than a spinning disc, and hence an SSD helped the "lag" problem. I never had a problem with "lag" before the 1.4 patch, now I have occassional slideshows and have to reboot. But I really enjoy the faster loading screens that came with the SSD.

Not twice as bad. PS3 and Xbox both have 512 mb. But you are right that PS3 has its RAM split into two seperate 256 mb busses, and that has caused problems with Skyrim since it was not designed with the PS3 architecture in mind and apparantly not ported too well.

Did not know that thank you for that, do you put one in where the harddrive goes or what?

Yeah, I replaced the original hard drive with a solid state drive. It was really easy. The solid state drive is the same size and goes in the same bay as the original. It basically a laptop drive. Here is the thread from the PS3 forum where I learned how to do it. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1288009-guide-lag-free-gameplay/
