It was the Dwemmer who sealed the Falmer's fate... and they were weak fools.

We are not nothing. We survived the eruption of the largest mountain in Tamriel. Time and time again, Nords, Imperials, Argonians it does not matter, by the grace of the Tribunal we repelled them all. Even the mighty Talos had to treat with us because of our superiority. It is only after this calamity that the lizards DARE attack us. And you filthy mead drinkers who are too drunk to tell you are laying with sheep, you dare call us nothing? You who are so ignorant and blind, who got your own god taken from you... and just sat there while the Thalmor rule your land? And before you bring up Ulfric... ha. Don't even get me started.

The Dunmer will arise more powerful than before. They always do. May the lizard-stinky-people tremble in fear when that happens.

Really testing the mercy of us Nords with statements like that..

Without the Tribunal the Dunmer would fall to any fool with an army. And now, with a shattered homeland it wouldn't even take an army.

Seriously though, dark elves are pretty cool, I wouldn't want to see them massacred and I would like to see them re-populate Morrowind and return to their former glory.



But I do want them OUT of Skyrim. It's belongs to the Nords.

i'd say the dark elfs are the weakest major race(along side orcs) in terms of power(landwise) atm and probably population wise aswell due to the major threats morrowind suffered,so i dont see dark elfs as a threat to the nords really.

Orcs are always dangerous. Even in their current state. Orcs are my favourite race after Nords, I really hope they return to full strength soon and rebuild Orsinium.

im not saying they're not dangerous just saying as a whole arnt realisticly a threat to a nation atm but when orsimer rise to retake their former glory it'll be kwl

The Orsimer aren't really allowed to have a truly permanant homeland. They are the pariah folk. They're cursed.

I think an alliance between Nords and Orcs would be really cool. They're pretty similar in many respects.

The Dunmer may not be a threat in the Imperial sense, but I suspect that the Hist provoked invasion of Morrowind was engineered by the Aldmeri. The Dunmer were tainted, fallen, choose your adverb in Thalmor eyes.....and they were better fighters. Had a mindset that wouldn't turn away from atrocity if it came down to it. And despite the racial arrogance, they seem to be the one mer species that gets along the best with the majority of the humans in Tamriel. Notice how coincidentally the Dominion attack on the Empire occurred -after- Morrowind was devastated. There was no particularly large Dunmer presence in the Legions that we know of, but the Argonian invasion certainly prevented Morrowind from reacting and sending a fighting force against the Dominion...and they are elves. They think like elves....which would damage the Dominion's favored tool. They have the potential lifespan of an Altmer.....so none of this 'General So-and-So died, and we don't know the trick he used to save his bacon!'.


There's more going on here than we know or suspect....

I suspect the Dunmer are already rebuilding their power, whether it's on the mainland or Solstheim.
I would also imagine that helping the Dunmer to earn their support in the fight against the Dominion might be a realistic option.

The Argonian invasion occured 165 years before the Great War.....

Its not in Nord nature to do such a thing.
Nord are honourable, pragmatic and down-to-earth.

Nord and Dunmer have allied before and have no special history of animosity aside from a few wars, which is perfectly normal between bordering nations.
It was a magnamonious thing of them to grant haven to the Dunmer, something that would appeal to their sense of honour.

If they did , i would love to see something of an uprising , since Dunmer have lost so much and also lost there land to the imperials in the beginning , it would seem that the race would be at boiling point if that happened .... but then again the Dunmer did enslave the argonians .... its kinda like getting a taste of there own medicine .

not really sure your accurate there ... there is allot of hatred towards all elves in skyrim on the nords part , and yeah i get the whole thalmor thing , but is that a reason to hate all elves ? i think not , i ended up killing that talos worshiper who rants and raves in whiterun city .... he got on my last nerve so i put him out of his missery lol

This is rather the definition of racism. Only a racist would care about preserving your own race, if you're not a racist then race doesn't matter ... and you ... well ... would not care. Wanting to preserve your own race is just ludicrous and makes no sense. What possible reason could there be for that? It's not like somebody is putting a gun to every person of your heritage's head and blowing the trigger, people are simply falling in love with people with different heritages and having children which might have a slightly different color tone than you ... OH THE HORROR!!! THE HORROR!!!

No there is hatred towards Dunmer. The Altmer are treated decently.

Which I find funny, as it's the altmer the nords should hate the most, historically and recently. I guess those who are not aligned with the Thalmor sought to gain the nord's respect, and those three altmer in Windhelm looked to have done it and now even chide the dunmer. You know you're doing something very wrong when the freaking altmer are given much much more respect and trust from the nords.

To be honest I think any kind of nationalism is just plain stupid. Heritage is little more than esthetics(and the possibility of certain traits, kinda like in Skyrim, just more medioce) and history will always be there, there is no reason to keep silly outdated cultures on life support in the modern age.
