lets go with no snipers, why would there be snipers? your in relativity close quarters so they would be pointless.

Setting up the turret in one spot, then sniping from another would be more effective, imo.

If your enemies are sensible, that plan would only get one incap at most, not really crippling to a coordinated team. And now they have your position. If you're not next to the turret, the single LR shot will be a lot easier to miss against the backdrop of the turret's fire - they'll find and take out the turret, but you're able to move on.

Idunno, 'cause nearly the instant you throw down a turret it starts shooting, so by the time you find another spot people will already be quite aware of it's presence. I'd probably use the turret as an obstruction and shoot around the sides of it's cover.

lets go with no snipers, why would there be snipers? your in relativity close quarters so they would be pointless.

My technique with M14 EBR/Rollins .50 cal in MAG & SVU/VSS in BC2 say otherwise. I treat them like assault rifles in close/mid-range, just with high zoom - it's hard to miss a target when they fill your entire scope.

Voted Hell NO! like the majority. Nice to see some Sniper Hate here lol.

Well i don't really hate snipers, actually it's pretty fun to fight them. Dodge this, doge that, get closer and boom.

But what i found annoying over the last years is the strong emphasis on Snipers in pretty every new shooter. It was always a very strong class with some mean tricks (thinking about the invisibility in Battlefield Heroes here :D), plus the fact it is a popular class in general resulted in lots and lots of snipers in every game.
This could even be gamebreaking (thinking about half the team sniping instead of going for the objective in BF Bad Company 2 f.e. :o).

So i am just relieved we are gonna have this ONE game now where Snipers play a lesser role.

When i know when a sniper is watching an area. I run out into that area and start performing a dance that consists of jumping, crouching, prone, zig zagging, backstepping, ect.
its fun to waste their ammo.

I think people only hate snipers because they can reach out and touch somebody. In the majority of games, snipers are useless anywhere but really far away. It is a little too popular, but still, it is a vital role on the battlefield. How many times in B:BC2 have you had a Recon on overwatch. Personally I think it's pretty badass when a sniper picks off a guy that's about to kill you. They're also pretty useful for covering the objective. Point being, give the poor guys a break.
