The first time I played, I was level 5 and decided I'd try my hand at fighting a Giant

lol. That always svcks. I wish Horses would be in first person like in Oblivion. I always found it ten bajillion times easier for me to control a first person over the third person horse. Me and my horse keep having awkward moments of falling off of cliffs or me accidently backing my horse into a wall. Thank god my horse is a quest horse that cannot die. I'm the only who dies. And my horse just stares at my corpse like, what an idiot.

Another stupid way for me to die was when I was trying to lure some bandit looters into a wall plate trap to kill them. And I end up hittng myself with the plate trap at low health. I just barely have enough life to live and then a bandit swings a sword from the wall plate trap and kills me. Really funny, awkward, and just sad.

While in "Ethereal Form" you don't take physical damage so you can:

- Approach archers who can't harm you (as soon as you attack though you become corporeal again).

- Approach mages who can't harm you (and let's face it for a warrior these are your biggest threat, casting Frost Spells that damage you while they slowdown effect keeps you out of your effective attack range).

- Let the dragon land and just before it blasts you with it's breath attack... "Become Ethereal" and take no damage... then go and whack it a lot with your sword.

- You're at the dop of a really really really high cliff and can't be asked walking all the way back down? "Become Ethereal" and leap into the air... fall hundreds of feet and hit the ground taking absolutely no damage".

In fact it's so useful if I was only allowed 1 shout that's the one I would keep.

Ha. That happened with one of my followers except he'd been poisoned by a Charus. I thought he could take him, simply forgetting that he was a magic user and not a melee fighter, so I didn't help him while he was getting his @ss whipped. When I realized that the charus was a match for him I killed it myself. Then my follower started talking and took a few steps... "Well, that was a close... Arrrgh! "... then dropped dead. I was screaming "Noooooo! Mercurius (or whatever his name was)!!!!". I dragged his body for a while to try and find a place to give my dear friend a proper burial where the Falmer wouldn't harvest his flesh... but decided just to toss him off an embankment. He was annoying come to think of it.

Killed a dragon. It fell on me and I died.

Possibly the only time I've ever done a literal facepalm while playing anything.

After all I went through just to get there, sheesh. I even looked at the thing on my way in and thought "WTH really? I'm supposed to cross over this? Looks tricky, better be careful..." and I fell off on my way back out trying to keep up with the others. Actually thought I might be able to survive the fall and just go back around but then I got the UR DED LOL killcam and....

*cue cheesy Darth Vader "NOOOOOOOOO!" sequence*

I got stuck under an iceberg. and drowned.

Over estimating where I"m going to land while trying to jump from a high cliff into a river. I always think I'm about 10 feet further out until I get closer to the ground it it become apparent that I'm not.

Going through Robbers Gorge, laugh in their face for the toll, start picking them off with your bow and then get caught in a convo with someone who hands you over a stolen item.....WTF

Winning an enemy in close combat with very little health left and then your follower's arrow hits your back killing you.

Getting Indirectly shot by an innocent hunter. I was trying to kill this rabbit and he just fired one arrow and it killed me.

Tried to hit a dragon on the edge of a cliff. Swung my sword, dragon got teleported behind me (new since 1.5!), I lunged forward and fell down to a spiky death.

Fast Travel -> Instantly attacked by Blood Dragon (at lvl 5-6 at the time), then notice that his health went up since he last landed, then notice that his health had not changed, it was a DIFFERENT dragon!?!?! Scratch that, there is 3 Blood Dragons vs lvl5-6 warrior....

No spoilers here though, I'll let you figure out how that fight ended.

(Also, this is a new bug since 1.5 lol. I barely ever FT anyway, but since 1.5 I am strictly a walking/riding player.)

Well, I kind of brought it upon my character by jumping around, acting silly. And before you know it, she's falling into the unknown.

Was attempting a dramatic entrance into a den of necromancers, conjurers or somesuch... the plan was to leap down fron the entrance platform-thing into their midst and, in a flurry of whirling blades, dispatch the malevolent fiends.
As it turned out, I got hooked up on a piece of scaffolding. Eventually they noticed my frantic pogoing and crouching and electrocuted my sorry [censored].

The good old exiting a dungeon to a cliff side, "oh it's night already, better activate night eye". Wuld! Splat.
