My personal best has to be running through a pile of bones in the opening cave (lvl 1) and being killed by the rebound. Owned by bones. Woop.

Yep, I've almost been done in by the rebounding clutter. Whenever that happens I just freeze and slowly step away from the offending kettle or skull.

I guess the stupidest way I've died so far would be by misjudging the height of a jump and ending up a crumpled heap at the bottom. Hardly heroic, haha.

Funny, I've nearly been killed a few times by a pile of bones or a bucket on the floor which I tripped over and it did a lot of damage when I was "young".

More recently I'd been playing for a while without saving and I got involved in a heated Dragon battle. Down the dragon came so that it was hovering close to the ground, I turned to face it, took a deep breath, and, forgetting I'd switched recently from Unrelenting Force to Whirlwind Sprint, I dashed forward and straight off a cliff. I had to laugh really.

The Deadfall right outside Sky Haven Temple.

Bugs related to Fortify HP and instant-kill executions. Level 1-6 monsters can one-shot a level 50 player with Max Armor and 500+ health.

Died on entry to a new cell once, dwemer ruin I think. No mobs, no warning, just insta-death. Didn't happen second time though so was a bit odd.

Thinking you have "Become Ethereal" equipped as your Shout as you stand over a precipice ready to jump down...

And then hitting "Shout" and performing the Whirlwind Sprint into mid-air.

Then you feel shame as you fall and die.

I was stuck in dialog with a traveler while a pair of wolves ran up an started chomping on me. When I realized what was happening I tried to end the discussion but as soon as I got out I fell dead.

Holding off killing a mob of Skeevers until I had dispatched the incredibly over powered Drauger at the end of a dungeon only to be killed by one seconds AFTER killing the Drauger.

I used whirlwind sprint to sprint to a saber cat when I was lvl 4. I was a melee so I thought I would get in and try to kill it before the battle started. As soon as I whirlwinded into it a second stood up behind it......yipes!

Well, there was the time I drowned in 3 feet of water trying to harvest a clam. And, i had a Waterbreathing Enchanted Item with me, but not equipped.

However the weirdest was when my follower pushed me off of Bard's Leap. Took a few reloads and Third Person view to figure that one out.

Off topic. What does that Become Ethereal shout do for you? The description has convinced me that it's useless, but since you use it, I'd like to know what I can get out of it. Thanks in advance.
