I enjoyed Skyrim's more, didn't feel like I was doing anything really in Oblivion...

I'm sorry if I am a bit uneducated here but who is Three Dog?
The utmost hated creature on the planet...next to Sunny Smiles and Opra.

The Grelod bit is a bit of genius. Lets non-evil characters find the DB too.

But in Oblivion, if you do the grand champion's quest in the arena and he lets you kill him, wouldn't it count as a mercy killing, or assissted suicide? :whistling:

I personally prefer the Oblivion Db, as I always felt close to them (but I hated being a non-shadowscale argonian in the same sanctuary as Ocheeva and her bro  ) and I loved 'Whodunnit?', but I have to admit, Cicero is epic, and so is being able to kill the emperor. Doesnt stop me missing Lucien, and my brothers and sister's pvssyr ("So how did the birthday contract go, brother?"). So BY SITHIS, don't let this cause another purification.

I like the Skyrim DB better. I loved having an organized Black Hand and the party in the mansion was fun, but you spent almost the whole quest line betraying the DB in Oblivion.

I wish I didn't have to kill Vincente in the Purification. He was like a father to me.

Ah! Yes. Three Dog is an obnoxious DJ from a radio station in FO3. It was ok at first...for the first 30 min of gameplay. Now every new character for FO3 gets a bee line quest to kill Tri Pup before anything else gets done.

Now I get into Skyrim and Nazir is voiced by the same actor. That alone is reason enough to never do the DB questline again.

Sunny Smiles is the worst Voice Actor in all of FO and Opra...is well...Opra.

Ahh, never played the FO games. I have been totally immersed in the TES Universe since buying Oblivion 5 years ago.

Lol. He was like a father to you - but you cannot spell his name. :P
Sry, I jest. :D

At least I didn't kill Scar-Tail. Maybe some new chapter of independent Shodowscales may have survived somewhere.

Hahahahaha, you got me sorry. IN haste as I post so my boss doesn't see what I am really doing today.

I killed Scar-Tail only because my Dunmer hates those lizzies

I prefer the Oblivion DB because it felt more mystical, and like a group of dark assassins. In Skyrim I didn't get that feeling with the DB. I liked the quests in SKyrim, it just felt like they tried to repeat Oblivion's DB with another 300 year old vampire, and having all the guild members killed.

I prefer the DB in Oblivion a hundred times more. I'm confused as to why people are saying Skyrim, unless they actually haven't played Oblivion.

OB Dark Brotherhood characters are so memorable and interesting compared to Skyrim's. Much more better and longer quests. Better advice from members. Far better plot and story. The only character I can remember from Skyrim is Cicero and even he is tedious and his character is rather unexploited as much as it could be.

And also two things I though about Skyrim's DB plot which were stupid...
Spoiler
1. When Arnbjorn chased Cicero, who was injured, from one side of Skyrim to the other.
2. Why they didn't have the 5 tenets which made it interesting in Oblivion.

I loved both about equally. The brotherhood was coming to a death, so it makes sense it would be degraded and reduced in skyrim, in cyrodill well there wasn't as big of a vice on it so it could grown big and beautiful. Eitherway I've always been an envoy for the night mother and the father of the void.

Spoiler
Astrids sudden character change. the whole time she is "lets kill the emperor. It will give the Dark Brotherhood its former glory back" and a few quests later she is "yeah I betrayed you and the whole Brotherhood and got everyone including my husband killed. My bad"
