1. Complete lack of depth.
2. NPC combat ai. At first i thought it was funny when a sabre cat turned in combat and started swatting at the air, but not anymore.
3. The whole game is easymode.

1. Mile wide, inch deep.
2. Good and evil, only choices, no consequences.
(though one could argue that the above are to be expected from a BGS game )
3. UI that makes DOS look user friendly.

1.) NPC's.
2.) Shallowness.
3.) Insurmountable barriers in the game world forcing me to endlessly backtrack and find that one linear path.

3. Thats the trick in making the world seem HUGE.

1-Magic was ravaged.

2-Free form exploration screwing up quests due to the player doing things out of the rigidly set order.

3-Too many essentials which should be expendable, Maven Black-Briar and Delphine/Esbern for example. The ability to kill them and force the next best alternate solution is exactly the type of situations that would offer meaning and consequence to player choices.

2. Is another aspect of skyrim that is fubar.

preaching to the choir.

We'll never see an official levitation spell again as long as they make cities in seperate cells :swear:

The fact that 5 things I used the most in previous games are removed - Unarmed (I don't call it H2H since this one makes more sense), Unarmored, Athletics, Acrobatics, Block (you can't use it in unarmed combat, so for me it's gone).
And what pisses me the most is that there were ways to implement all of them (http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1308084-skyrim-skill-overhaul/page__fromsearch__1 is mine version of how it could've been done)!
Appart from that, forced 3rd person is something which also irritates as Hell.

I could go on, but... let's not.

1. Inane, narcissistic whining.
2. People who spending more time nit-picking than they do playing the game.
3. The removal of spell-making.

Since when has Block ever been part of Hand-To-Hand?
Daggerfall? Shields were just Armor Bonus, no Block skill at all.
Morrowind? Block required a Shield, which went away when you raised your hands to fight with your fists.
Oblivion? Blocking didn't reduce incoming damage, and only staggered enemies if you were a Journeyman in Block.

People need to chill out a bit. You can list three things that you don't like in a game, but still love it anyway. Geez

1. Lack of a journal being a proper journal. I don't need a grocery list.
2. Limited amount of faction quests. Entirely too short and found lacking.
3. Flickering shadows, striped shadows, shadows where there aren't supposed to be any; etc. Just quirky behavior of shadows in general.

1.) Meaningless loot and poor itemization system that does not scale properly.
2.) The game is too easy and there is no way for the player to control the scaling of the difficulty.
3.) Perk progression is rather bland leading to one-dimensional combat and not enough specialization. Character progression further ends too quickly (or stops mattering).

Actually #2 is just a whole lot of patching... it is not actually something beyond repair.

...#1, the problem of magic, spellmaking and the whole shebang on the other hand is cemented deep in the fundamental design of the game. We are likely stuck with a sentence to ~5 years of hell unless Bethesda takes extraordinary step of offering a substitute to the Cliff Racer of fundamental game designs.

I have never heard that saying before(did you just make it up?)but that really is the best phrase to sum this game up I have heard to date.

1) Lack of dialogue options
2) The way your character enters the world is very limiting in terms of how you want to roleplay, and also how you're forced to be a Dragonborn if you want to see dragons.
3) Radiant Story not what it was hyped up to be

3: Lack of recognition that I look exactly like a deadra

I agree with this. Noone says anything about me using Forsworn Armor and weapons.

3/ Cant place items in your home without them being thrown around or moved as soon as you leave! i mean in oblivion you could at least put a couple of things down but in skyrim its impossible and ANNOYING!!

Yup this is annoying. I though have managed to get one of my dragon claws to eventually stay still after needing to pick it up many times.

go shoot yourself for even mentioning that you want skyrim to be like fable...guns would kill TES for me forever

Yup, guns have no place in TES. I would be really, really dissapointed if there were. The closest thing to a gun in the game should be a crossbow (which should be put back into the game)

Impressive at first but with experience, found to be stupid or unimaginative

Or as someone put it it goes far but doesn't have much depth at any point.
