Skyrim or Dishonoured.... but fallout 4? Its very very very very very very very unlikely it would be that, mainly because they don’t start work on that game until after they have made Skyrim, unless they have been very sneaky lol. I am not expecting a fallout 4 announcement until 2014 lol.

I don't want to hear about any DLC announcement or plans until the game is fixed. Until it's fixed, I'm voting with my wallet, no DLC and I urge others (especially PS3 Users) to do the same.

Off of twitter, the image is named Tyxcur. Tyx, according to http://www.kunstsprachen.de/s2/node19.html#lextyx, means foot in Iclandic, and of course Cur is something we've heard in Morrowind, and means mutt, or mixed-breed, but used to refer to an outcast or outsider. I suppose foot could mean wandering on ones feet, so a "wandering outcast" or "Trespassing Outsider" perhaps.

Interesting name in any case.

I agree, that is the reson why I have a small doubt it's Skyrim related. Maybe the new DLC's trailer wil be live action or CGI?

It's quite obvious that whatever it is related to, be it Dishonoured or Skyrim, it is going to be a CGI trailer.

My last post:

I don't want to be "that guy who beats a dead horse", but...

please forgive me if I'm late to the party, as I can't really read through 5 threads and 7 pages just to convey an information

I took a look at the 1.5.26 behavior files, and I found interesting stuffs:

- Behavior entries for Crossbows. I can confirm that these entries are entirely new, and -animation wise - they seem to work the way standard bows do
- Behavior entries for the first DLC.Their path explicitly states "DLC01", and one of them is named "SnowElfPrinceAscensionBurning". This heavily implies that the first DLC is about the Snow Elves, and most importantly we will do something about their fate. I assume that we will help the rightful prince of the Snow Elves ascend to heaven (or to his Throne)

EDIT:
There are also behavior entries for Chair_SnowElfPrinceDialogueA to D. This heavily implies that we will meet the rightful prince of the Snow Elves. Perhaps some Snow Elves managed to escape from Dwemer enslavement? Or some of them went into hiding instead of asking for help from the Dwemer?

It's not much, but this is perhaps some circumstantial evidence of a possible revisit of Solsthiem, anyone who remembers the minor quest about the Falmer in there would certainly see the possibility.

Watch it be that Same Altmer from Raven Rock, come to take his rightful place.

Maybe it's another live-action trailer, this time for Thalmor DLC.

I hope not. Those just lead to more questions lol.

I believe it's a rendered model that's been digitally painted over. A lot of concept art is done like that after characters and assets have already been modeled, it's quicker and ends up looking more detailed with less work. Usually used or created for promotional reasons, or conceptualizing the desired atmosphere or finalized look of something.

A Dlc announcement doesn't mean automatically that they don't work anymore on fixes to improve the game experience on your console and other platforms  ( hopefully, in a permanent way)

About the picture: i'm sure that is Skyrim related (first Dlc announcement ) at 99,99 % if i have to bet.

The "realistic look" its due to the fact that its a picture taken from a "cinematic trailer" probably,as others have already said.

Maybe they meant it to look obscure and "Generic", but to me, that twitter pic doesn't say "Skyrim". It's probably Dishonored, maybe RAGE.

[Edit]: Upon closer inspection, it looks like he might be wearing some of the classic Skyrim "Harness" armor (Scaled, Hide, Studded)... So now I don't really know what to think.

It's obviously CGI. Not live-action or in-game.

I still think it's a http://images.wikia.com/elderscrolls/images/b/ba/Snow_Elf.png, possibly high-ranking, that somehow survived and will organize and lead the falmer topside in a campaign of conquest and terror. According to the book The Falmer: A Study ->

In recent years, however, the sightings of these creatures have become more and more frequent. Their raids, more organized. Their attacks, more brutal. In fact, one might even come to the conclusion that the Falmer are ready to change once again. Could it be true? Are the snow elves of ages past ready to reclaim their long-forgotten glory? Are they ready to surge to the surface, and make war upon the "light dwellers"?
If that happens - if the Falmer are indeed planning on reconquering Skyrim - I fear a horror neither man nor gods could possibly stand against.

At the risk of repeat myself and with the bunch of neurons still functionally i have (hopefully  ) its April - five or sixth months from release date - just 10 years from Morrowind and some day ago Bethesda itself have said something about "Skyrim and Rage fans etc."

If that picture is Rage related then i'm Todd Howard  apart from joke, all lead towards a Skytim Dlc announcement in my opinion.
