The glass shatter plugin allowed entry into the dome, but I don't believe anything else could have been done. I've looked through the records for each one, and nothing indicates theft/damage. Slimer5 tried to use flint/steel, but world guard blocked it, chests were opened, nothing was removed. They were able to essentially walk over there and look around. I don't know of any official announcement that you couldn't go there and look around, albiet we probably won't let them play the games at all, or at least for a while. Slimer5 may get a ban/tempban, because so far as I know he has been a [censored].

TL;DR Worldguard works as intended, new glass shatter toy overrides it(if block is configured as breakable, glass and glasspanes). No real harm was done, slimer5 is a nuisance.

Solution for the short term, yes. But the problem is they may be attempting to go back in when no one can slap them on the nose for their boorish behaviour. Like Terpy, he apparently told them to leave, and they said no most likely. If they refuse to obey and respect instructions of where they are and are not permitted to go, then they are not welcome.

I don't enter private houses. I don't steal. I don't even have a house in New Rorikstead because I didn't wanted to mess the area.

No plans to ban you, and slimer5 is still ok with consideration to a temp ban/ban. As I've said before, there was never a rule posted anywhere that said 'do not enter'.
Destruction isn't something that is so prevalent in the community that an instant ban is done, but I have no wish to play with somone who's main source of fun in the game is destroying/stealing/annoying people. If someone can't abide by the 'be nice' rule of this community, they don't quite belong. Whether or not slimer5 has followed that rule is up to the decision of the other admins and I. There are plenty of other servers out there that he can play on if we choose to ban him.

Hey, you're fine. TeeHee (RoflWaffle) is the person behind the Hunger Games idea that the glass dome is all about, and she's just big on keeping it protected and secret-ish so that when a game does take place there's nobody there with an advantage from pre-scouting. At least, that's the sense I get from this discussion. Thanks for explaining yourself - I hope you stick around and enjoy the server, since the enjoyment goes both ways. We'll enjoy your continued company too. And we should probably have considered putting up signs anyway .

Edit: Oh, and feel free to set up a home in New Rorikstead or area - other than the obvious areas (ie spaces between houses and the nearest path, tight spaces between houses, obvious scenic viewpoints) you can build pretty well anywhere, and there's no real building codes. Heck, someone built a big cobblestone block in front of my place...

So I log onto the server for the first time in ages. Find myself kicked out of a house by a creeper, chased by his electro-charged friend, hide in a house, encounter a second Robbio, find two Ender dragons flying around outside, one of them turns into a blaze, then both land next to me, then one turned into Tank who turned into Lego who THEN turned into a slime......

I think I need to either lay down or cut back on the LSD.

Notice the HUGE ENDERDRAGON IN MY MINESHAFT. It disappeared aftera short while. Then a smart silverfish with the ability to climb ladders and place dirt blocks came inside and didn't hurt me, just trolled me. Is this some new mod or something?

The silverfish locked me and tank inside my mineshaft and tried to set me on fire. then after a while tank turned into me and... that happened. Then an enderdragon spawned.

As of now, I have yet to play any sort of minecraft at all. I am however, considering picking up the 360 ver. whenever it becomes available. I got into the idea from all the youtube videos of constructions made by your guys' community that just amazes me with the detail.

you sure that you can't run it on your current computer? it does not take as much as people expect, the most important thing is to have at least 2 gb of memory available while running and have and have a dedicated graphics card.

Which I have neither of. Its an older e-machine still running XP with 1GB of ram. I cant even run Inkscape on it properly .

well i suppose if you already have an xbox then i'd go for it. worst case scenario you'll have to buy it again when you have a good pc, but at that point if you have the money to buy a pc that can run minecraft it generally goes in hand you'll have enough to buy minecraft afterwards.

The price did go up but its still half as much as a mainstream game and so far ive played probably 3000 hours worth at least. (the fruits of a years worth of staying up all night mining)
