Great stuff. Weird though. A thread was created about horses and mounted combat yesterday and today they release a new beta patch for horse combat. Looks great, so excited for E3 demo of dawnguard.

If not its no biggie. When this comes to consoles I feel bad for anybody on the roads. I don't care if I get a bounty I'm going on a rampage!

The video made me laugh, because thats about the only time you would have mounted combat... Is when you attack guards.....
80% of the time your wandering around there is nothing.......
Something tells me the controls for this and the aiming is going to be quite buggy and slow... Infuriating too... Since it will take 10x longer to kill something then it usually would. I wonder how magic/bows will work with this? I can't see it working tbh...

If you have two 1h weapons equipped you still only swing with one arm.

Left clicking makes you lean off the horse and swing to the right of it. Right clicking makes you swing off the horse, leaning the other way but still using your primary weapon. They're reversed like when normal dual weilding which is still a bit odd for me.

You could fight animals in the wilderness, I chased down a couple of Elk. It made killing them 100x easier.

Also I'm only fighting guards because I needed to buy a horse and Whiterun is the most convenient place I know.

Still get no status bars when fighting from horseback. I'm uploading a vid now. Probably a mod I'm using that is conflicting.

Like your normal desktop cursor? I had that but it was caused by the Steam overlay, and has happened every since release, and does for several games for me.

The ingame mouse was there just fine.

Oh my god that is epic! :D
