Woah...that's pretty wicked. And you can hit guys on either side of you, too? Awesome.
Yes. It's just like duel wielding. One mouse button (Or trigger on console) hits left, one hits right. Also, holding the buttons results in your guy holding his weapon at the ready, and you can sprint while being 'cocked' to swing or fire your bow.

This results in you galloping across the tundra holding your sword up like a marauder. :D

Don't think we'll see it on consoles until after E3 and the Dawnguard reveal.

I'm not fussed, but it's good they're adding features to the game. I'd show the same level of joy and excitement if I found out you can finally disable auto health regen and the compass. Any word on that I wonder.

I didn't actually test that. I just did a single 1h wep, or a 2h wep. I will however go test that now. (But don't count on it)

Considering we didn't even have mounted combat until essentially a few hours ago, isn't that good enough for now?

Also, yay! The community asked for a feature, and they got it. Though, I wonder how long it will take people to start whining about it...?
It would have taken no additional effort to enable spell casting while mounted. If archery works so would magic.

Not I. I've had no issues with the new patch yet. Mounted combat appears to work as intended, and nothing is disappearing or glowing weird.

The video shows no health/stamina bar while engaged.

Alright, I like it! But it is like dual wielding where attack left with left mouse and attack right with right mouse, but it is only using your right handed sword. It seems Left mouse button is attack right and Right mouse button is attack left. Also, hold down for a power attack (Hold down then release.) I hopped on Shadowmere (Which I am using mods to alter her looks and her combat AI, so far they are playing nicely with mounted combat) and got my first kill! It is a tad tricky but I will get used to it!

I'm trying out this update right now, and no magic support for mounted combat makes me very sad because all of my characters are primarily magic users. Anyway, being in third person, archery is pretty useless on horseback, sword swinging has been OK, but it's rather awkward to use because horses turn so oddly. If they've fixed the navmesh bug though... yay. Now I won't have any hesitations about using Open Cities again :]

I turned off menu's so it looked better. I played for a while before filming and had no issues.

I can confirm that while hitting space when stationary, you slide around like mad... :P
