So What Are You Doing In Skyrim #2

Seeking out and exploring dwemer ruins. Not as easy as it sounds. Most of the ones I find are inaccessible.

After 6 months of destroying everything in the game with spells, Veronica, now going on 3 years old game time, with 3500+ victimes, decided it's time to try a new profession lol. So she breaks out that Daedric sword she's had in her inventory forever, and sat out to kill cam everyone she encountered!

My character Torik(guess his race if you can :P) is doing his best to find a pair of dwarven boots though it seems that his quest is doomed to fail. He has just retrieved the white phial for Nurelion before traveling to markarth to speak with Calcemo.

Well, it's just taken us 50 minutes in real time to clear a fort of bandits, which is kind of Awesome if we're honest.
And now we're in a cave full of trolls.

I was in North Shriekwind Bastion yesterday, recovering the last Totem of Hircine. It's a fascinating place. Have you ever noticed this; in one room you can open a cupboard that is full of shoes (is there a female Draugr with a 'thing' for shoes?) Inside that cupboard, there is blood dripping from the ceiling. When you go further into the crypt, you eventually come to a chamber with torture devices in it and blood splattered all over the floor. This chamber must be right above the shoe cupboard, and the blood must be leaking through the floor.
What a detail to put in there! I love this game. :)

Frosty killed a ton of his Falmer kin today, Darq-Raze considered retirement from thieving (since the questline is bugged and incompletable now), and the great Malus Silver-Wolf is starting his journey through the companions

Explored, assasinated some people, did some quests.

Took Windhelm with the Imperial Legion. General Tullius is awesome. :D

Wiped out some stormcloak scum remnants.

Enchanted Ulfics outfit and renamed it Tou'rada(Traitors Jewel) Robes, Bracers and Boots.

Saving my money for the 100,000g trophy. About 11g to go.

Pickpocketing for the thief trophy. 27 to go.

Pickpocketing from sleeping people.
No guardhouse is safe!

I was in Fort Katsav when my latest character, Tepes Bathory - a Breton, became a full blown vampire...

His first victim was a mercenary who couldn't be persuaded to hand over the bounty letter. Conjoured a flame atronach and drained the mercs life away before feeding on her corpse using the Ring of Namira. Went into the nearest village - Anga's Mill - and satisfied his vampiric bloodlust on a young woman named Aeri. Then it was back to his lair...

http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5151/6966311454_fce7cc8bfb_z.jpg[

...it's located in the basemant of Anise's Cabin and has an apothecary's satchel that doesn't reset, an alchemy lab and an enchanting table - perfect for my build. It also remains classed as tresspassing so followers will go down with you, but turn hostile when you try to interact

His MO is to lure hapless adventurers to his lair and have his evil way with them. Hannibal Lecter said, "How do we begin to covet, Clarice? Do we seek out things to covet?...No. We begin by coveting what we see every day."

Who's Tepes Bathory been coveting in this sleepy little hamlet then? Muahaha-hahaaa

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7224/6966310374_c701ae3a23_z.jpg

Sven? Or Faendal? I'll let you guys decide who his first victim is..

Here's perk distribution at my current level (22)

http://skyrimcalculator.com/#116630%5Dhttp://skyrimcalculator.com/#116630

Main form of attack is conjour flame atronach then bound bow and swords + drain

Sven! Kill Sven! He's a obnoxious jerk.

MIDDAS - 1038 17 Evening Star 4E 201
Niamh, on her way to Dawnstar across the northern coastline from Northwatch, seeks shelter from the local wildlife, and the elements, in Ravenscar Hollow.
She's not alone however and a - (one-sided) - encounter with a Hagraven and a Troll leads her deeper inside, where she comes upon an imprisoned bandit who pleads with her to release him and promises that he will help her fight the remaining Hags. After a very brief moment of consideration the Wood Elf shoots him through bars of the cage. If the boot was on the other foot he would not have thought twice about trying her on for size and stealing everything she had, including her dignity. Well now that's one less of him in the world.
Besides, she's faced down a dragon in Labyrinthian, a few Hagravens will be nothing...

Freazh'der is working through the killing of the Dungeon bound Dragon Priests. He has killed 6, and is wondering how many more. The deep Nord Tombs are clearing slowly. He is also working on Divine Blessings. He will take these into the Fight with the Thalmor and with the Dragons.

He prays for the return of the Knights of the Nine. A long dead relative was involved with them a time ago. The Divine Blessing helped his relative then through the trials, He is now working to gain such blessings to assist now.

I ran a new character through the Stormcloak side of the Civil War this Weekend, and finished the Main Quest. Sonja the Red was able to kill all four of Alduins Allied Dragons in Skuldafin, but she learned that Stormcall with just the first word only makes Elder Dragons extremely mad.
I learned that I should have had remote speakers, I thought Rikke was banished from Skyrim by Ulfric
My long term character Brunjild Hanin has collected The Longhammer, and is slowly making her way to return the Rueful Axe back to Clavicus Vile.

Here's what all my various characters are up to as of this weekend! (I started a couple more characters, too, but they're just chilling in the Keep at Helgen while I decide who's going to do what :) )

-Alinor (Breton Guildmaster and Nightingale) married Harrald, moved into Mistveil Keep, and is now retired to a life of leisure :)

-Denebarided (Dunmer assassin) is on his way to complete a contract.

-Jerem (Redguard Archmage) and Vorstag just cleared Tolvald's Cave in search of a book for the Arcaneum. Falmer snipers everywhere meant a lot of hiding and spamming conjured Frost Atronachs. He's headed to Peryite's Shrine next, ingredients in hand.

-Renna (Nord archer) and Marcurio left Whiterun with Balgruuf's answer to Ulfric.

-Mazurga (Orc, Legate, Dovahkiin) and Erik are making a pilgrimage to the Orc strongholds.

-Thandiwe (Redguard) is roaming around taking on odd jobs with Jenassa and Ahtar.

-Winnifir (Bosmer scavenger) is trying to figure out how to take down Sinding. :P

Jelissa finally returned the Skeleton Key. Then she headed for Falkreath with Vilkas. They ran into a Frost Dragon and made some shopping. Jelissa wanted to relax at the inn for a while, but Vilkas kept getting up and whined about that they should keep moving. He's obviously not very fond of Falkreath.
Next stop: Riften.

Aurora is trying to make a living mixing and selling potions, while she's getting more and more worried that she's stuck in Skyrim and never will make it home to her family again. She's also a bit confused over how everyone seems to assume that an ordinary, unarmed woman in ordinary clothes is an adventurer ready to throw herself into dangerous caves.

Dar'ja is nearing the end of her journey. She only has to find a way to deal with Alduin and she'll be hanging up her daggers until a greater challenge comes along.

Kiir Srinna, Breton Mage, found the Sightless Pit and ventured in alone thinking that Argis the Bulwark would catch up with her. He never did and there was only one way out...right through the Temple of Xrib.

At Level 47, it was tough going. She was able to conjure the Dremora Lord and a Storm Atronach but some of the enemy could banish them. She found that she could hide and send the Flaming Familiar (a running bomb) at the enemy over and over again until she was alone again and able to find the way out. Sometimes it's patience and the smallest tool that's right for the job.

Now she's in Winterhold with Argis and ready for a meal and some sleep. It was quite an adventure. :tes:

Jerric, Skyrim Edition made friends with some orcs by beating the snot out of their chief, go figure. He had their smith make him some http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/grits29/SteelPlate.jpg. Now he’s getting a lot of compliments from the guards. He also got a letter from Calcelmo asking him to come to Markarth and sell him the Dwarven artifact that he just purchased in Whiterun. Seriously? The last time they were in Markarth, Calcelmo was not polite. He’s probably ticked that he and Marcurio have not yet swatted the big spider like he asked them to. Right now they’re about to go underground in search of Mjoll’s sword. She was nice to them. Calcelmo gets to wait.

Isabella Raven-Wood spent a night on the town. This morning more then a few fair maidens woke up having been relieved of their clothes and jewlery... most men of their weapons after grinding her way from lv55 pickpocket to 100. The bunkhouse in Riftin got hit the worse followed by Solitude. Even the Jarl of Solitude wasn't immune.

http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/grits29/7000StepswithCalder.jpg (Stormblade, Dovahkiin, Mrs. Stenvar) is on the road to Ivarstead with her housecarl. Here’s what she says about it, in spoiler tags for scrolling convenience:

Spoiler
I used to think that Calder was a man of few words, but now I’d say he doesn’t have any. Hasn’t spoken up without me saying something first since Windhelm, and tonight we’re in Ivarstead. I got so lonely I resurrected a poor little dead fox we found just for the company. Calder didn’t like that. I could tell by the way he didn’t blink.

This whole situation came about when Stenvar and I got to discussing how I need to see the Greybeards again. Maybe they heard another echo of power somewhere. The gods know that Stenvar and I pick the wrong places to look. Anyway I didn’t want Stenvar to climb all of those steps this time on account of his knee injury. I couldn’t say it that way, though. So I asked him what he had for sale.

It was a bunch of junk, of course. Plus the potions that I made for him, but it was the wrong time to start an argument about that. He said he intended to acquire some new inventory for his shop, which means go raiding. I said fine, good hunting. I’m off to see some old men. Calder glanced to the side a little and kind of breathed through his nose. That’s Calder talk for he wants to go with me.

So here we are in Ivarstead about to make the climb. I took him through Nelheim to show him the view. The smell was bad because of the rotting bandits from the last time through there with Stenvar, but Kyne smiled and we could see all the way back home to Windhelm. Then we ran along the ridge to Ivarstead, and here we are. I like this little town. Wilhelm runs a nice inn. But they could sure as sixteen hells use another merchant.

Sigyn managed to rescue Thorald Gray-Mane but lost her newly appointed housecarl Lydia. She decided to wear Lydia's armor, as a memory (and she really needed a better armor than the iron thing she was wearing). Then she spent a couple of days in Solitude, decided she hated the place (but she did get the Wabbajack), and headed back to Whiterun. On her way she passed Rorikstead and felt an obligation to spend almost all her gold to hire Erik. After all, he reminds her of herself a few years ago, when she first tried mercenary work. Or a happy puppy.

Jelissa just found out exactly how much the jarls and stewards appreciate their thanes. In Falkreath, she was welcome to share Siddgeir's bed. And in Riften, Anuriel didn't mind some night time company. But since Jelissa's very much in love with her husband and never would cheat on him, she spent the night at her own house instead.

Aurora will be spending the day in Falkreath, working on her Alchemy skills.
