What a disappointment.

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:13 am

Dead money was a huge disappointment, its simply not fun, just walk from point one to point two, kill the same enemy a couple dozen times in extremely predicable formats.

I am about half way through and I quit, it was that unbearable.

Dont get it, dont waste your time on it, and dont expect any fun from it.

What a disappointment, well back off to Fallout 3.

Anybody know if you can go back to "Dead Money" after you left? Like if you missed something?

Ikr? Its annoying as hell being forced to run through gas what takes you down to one health, and then have no stem packs.

>implying that you have omniscients

If you read my reply, you would see that I couldnt find anything, I never said there wasnt anything.

And even if there was some cool content, it worth spending 6 hours of your time and $20 of your money for nothing that was actually fun.

Sorry to hear you don't like the DLC. I guess that svcks for you.

Personally I'm enjoying it, save for a couple complaints. I think it's better than most of the Fallout 3 DLC.

The total giveaway is: "well back off to Fallout 3".

If your enjoying it, why are you posting on a forum in a thread that says how its a disappointment, and not actually playing it right now?

But, I guess if you define fun as constant repetition with expected results, then its great.

Cool story bro. If you think its so great, then:
1) Make a counter argument.
2) Go play it.

I just don't think you can accurately pass judgment on the DLC without finishing it.

And why in God's name did you pay $20 for it? Did you buy it twice?

Its the first game I have ever played where I didnt finish it, and I have played alot of games. I cant even force myself to continue to play it, its just that bad, imho.

And I bought 1400 MSP, what is $20.

Reasons I stopped playing it:
1) I had to go to the grocery store.
2) I had to shovel snow.
3) I was hungry, so I made lunch.

Reasons I'm not playing it right now:
1) My girlfriend is playing it.

ITs just not fun, imho.

And I still havent heard a real counter argument towards why its so great, as far as I am conserned, there is none.

Only 800 of those points were spent on Dead Money, so you only spent $11 on it.

Have a serious question for people that have seen a lot or all that Dead Money has to offer.
OK, I have seven characters, five of which I'm going to take through Dead Money, which will end up getting boring after two or three times of playing. So I'm going for efficiency, which brings me to my inquiry; based on the new and unique items, weapons, attire which character(s) of mine will benefit most from DM...

1. an Alien/ energy weapons and advanced explosives, i.e. plasma grenades
2. a cowboy/gunslinger/ cowboy weaponry 1890 and down
3. all around modern soldier/ modern "army" weapons, guns and explosives
4. hack n' slash barbarian/ uses melee
5. private investigator/ hand to hand and neo noir handguns

Thanks in advance...

I have no other use for those MS points at the moment, I still went out and spent $20 for one purpose, to get the DLC.

Okay, I'm starting to suspect this DLC involves some critical thinking. :P
