What kind of weapons would you like to see that are not in t

Flails x 10
Staves/spears
Throwable objects (knives obviously but it would be nice to be able to throw stones as distractions)

And whips (Indy Jones-esque characters and foxy dominatrixes anyone?). Although they would be really hard to implement.

I'd rather see more unique skins of types that already exist.

+1 to flails and spears. I don't know how many would agree, but I also like the idea of having a weapon that is not meant to kill, but knock opponents down unconscious. Like the blackjack in the Thief games.

I second scythe.
Some weapons from distant cultures (Argonians, Akaviri - other than katanas, other Mer/Elves...) would be nice, too.

I'm actually fine. More variation is nice but I'm satisfied. If I had to choose, throwing knives and axes would be tops.

yeah i am happy aswell and even happier if they had real spears
tthe lack of spears hurts the immerson , knowing that the spear was the main basic weapon in our own history during thousands of years ( up untill middle medevial times were it was replaced by the pike and other poleweapons)

Weapon I want the most is already in the game, but it's useless.
I'm talking about unarmed.

Better unarmed, more useful, by that I mean, you have the Stormcloak Officer Bracers with the knuckle spikes, if they would have had an increased DMG rating when fighting it would have been cool. They could have reused a couple of the sword/dagger animations for kill cams too.

I do not even play unamrmed, but I thought this was a great way for ES games to go, since they had already used the mechanic in Fallout 3. I would think it would have been easily adapted to Skyrim and makes perfect lore sense to me.

How about just the weapons that were in previous games? Like Morrowind and Oblivion. Seriously, Skyrim shorted is on weapon types big time lol. Game was still pretty fun though. Was hoping throwing weapons would make a comeback though...

Compound bows. Dwemer Robots!?! Surely some Dwemer engineer could have made a compound bow! Tippy-toeing up the steps with a 6 ft recurve bow at full draw is full-on man's work. My rotator cuff just can't take it anymore.

In all honesty I'm happy with what we've already got.

Having said that, more choice is never a bad thing. I suppose I'd quite like to see some interesting polearms like glaives or naginata.

Perhaps, but just because something happened in our development, does not mean that the same phase occured within TES universe. Still, spears were in Morrowind last, so I see no reason they should not be in current game (we saw them in the Game Jam video, done in a week, so I suspect with more tweaking that could make it in the next game or DLC).

  • Spears - 2 handed and a 1 handed one that can be used with a shield hopolite style.
  • Crossbows - at least a dwarven style one.
  • Throwing weapons- Javelins, throwing knifes, and throwing axes.
  • Pole Arms - glaives and halberds

I would like to see some unarmed "weapons", like Fallout 3 had spiked knuckles, the Deathclaw Gauntlet, etc... Maybe a Troll Gauntlet, or Dragon Claws.

More sword varieties for sure.

Broadswords, Sabers, Rapiers, Katanas (Not [censored]ing "BLADES SWORDS"). and of course, SHORTSWORDS.

Just give it a bit more flavor.

For the assassin classes, the garot would be sweet. But maybe a little too gruesome for Skyrim?
