What kind of weapons would you like to see that are not in t

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 7:22 am

Dragon bone weapons to match my armor....
or i would have to say throwing knives for my assassin.
Or some Aedric artifacts...

Aedric Artifacts are hard to come by. I think Lord's Mail, Chrysamere, and the Crusader outfit would be a few.

I really don't want crossbows to be honest, I don't see what the major deal is with them; I feel bows are better. But if they decide to add them, you'll have no complaints from me, the more weapons the better!

In regards to spears, I'd personally rather have a more variety, when I read "spears", I instantly think of sticks with metal pointy things attached to them. Of course, that's pretty much what I spear is. But I'd much prefer to have something more badass like a bo staff! I'd role-play some old wise martial artist wanderer beating virtue and discipline to the people of Skyrim.

But I plan on getting a computer soon, so Skyrim on the computer for me instead of the Xbox, yay! ^_^

- Some kind of "grenades". A bottle of glass with some highly explosive stuff inside.
- clubs.
- Ballista (very large crossbow), dwewer style! You can see them in dwarfen ruins, so they are lore-friendly. I'm thinking they could act as stationary weapons. Especially effective against dragons.
- Morning star, a mace whose head is separated from the handle by a chain.
- One-handed hammers.
- non-lethal weapons, such as darts with some form of sleep-summoning substance.
- Placeable "turrets", similar to the mounted soul-gems. Can only have a limited amount (two?) of them active a one time.

I would like to see a scythe weapon(ebony, glass, etc)
- may I suggest a variety of spears?

- and cooler and a wider variety of caster gears? The arch mage armor is actually the best gear available for a caster :(((

- what about the possibility to display correctly the Dual wielding weapons, one on the left side and one on the right side of the character?

- What about the possibility to display the shield on the back of the chars?

Throwing weapons, crossbows, and staffs would be a welcome return for me. But really, I'd be happy if the swords just looked sharp. As it is now, most of the blades look clunky, and remind me of nerd toys.

I think morning stars and whips would be cool, and Tridents for epic whale battles on the high seas.

Skullbreaker from Morrowind, I want some one handed hammers!
I would also like realistic working Whips and Flails.
Dismembered body parts as weapons.
A club made from a Dragons Jawbone.

Honestly, the only weapon I'm missing is a crossbow, which would be a completely awesome addition. That, and chain weapons, which I understand are nearly impossible to implement properly.

For the assassin classes, the garot would be sweet. But maybe a little too gruesome for Skyrim?
We already cut heads off, so I think that boat has sailed.

I'd like to see a very lethal and appropriately designed katana! The most deadly sword there is.... why can't we get one of those apart from it not being in "theme' with the TES universe as I know it - this is my first game.... And I would like the right sort of attack modes for it... go back and watch Seven Samurai!

Maces with the ball and chain.

Poison darts.

"Force" chokes.

Garrotes… Strangling kill cams.

Ability, to use chloroform and torturing to get information.

Moats.

Arrow (V.A.T.S.)??

sticks and stones.

There's only so many medieval ways to kill….

So I'll expand on it.

Of course mounted combat.

I'd like a multiple stabber perk, kill cam includes a stabbing maniac.

A butcher perk, kill cam includes precise cutting of the human anatomy.

Having actual EPIC battles on a field like in Braveheart.

I also want to press crouch and have my character on the tips of his toes, watching the landscape… stalking.

The game is about killing so give it thousands of ways to die.

Example: Magic can be utilized in more imaginative ways to kill someone.

Make them explode kind of spell.

Turn someone into a pig, then kill them.

Make someone float then magically separate their body parts and put them back together in odd places.

Crush someone with a falling anvil, get creative.

Automatic Kill spells or bust...

More importantly, concentrate on your storylines and companions and your choices and consequences.

Whips,Flails,Knuckles (Steel,Daedric,Bone etc)

I like the third one to make unarmed more playable in the game without having to use all those tricks.
