What do you want in New Vegas?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:46 am

roswel

Cyborgs

The ability to get hurt and turn into a cyborg

build your own robot

Clothes customazation such as color fabric how tuff it is

being able to bury your items for later

turn a cave into your home

lots of other stuff hoping for an awesome game

I'm only really "good" at world building in the GECK, so the only one I can do there if modding is possible is the cave home. But you can bet your ass I'll be making that if a toolset is released.

roswel (Roswell is in New Mexico, not Nevada.)

Cyborgs (Aren't those just another name for Androids?)

build your own robot

Clothes customazation such as color fabric how tuff it is

being able to bury your items for later

turn a cave into your home

lots of other stuff hoping for an awesome game

Boldness is my retort.

*Sigh* No, cyborgs are NOT androids. The difference between the two is like comparing the sun with the moon. A cyborg is a human with robotic enhancements. An android is a 100% mechanical being (a.k.a. robot) that is shaped to look, behave, sound, smell, talk, walk and so on and so forth like a human.

i would like far more customisable armor, rather than have 100 raiders wearing 5 kinds of armor, give each armor at least 50 variables to it, maybe 10 for each limb, and more for the torso. every inch of the armor customisable.

the same goes for weaponry, there really cant be 6 types of automatic weapons in Vegas.

I really got to stop and read all of the replies, so I don't repeat others, but oh well here it goes:

I want to have both a Dog if there will be any, or a mutated irradiated Cat AND a Yao Guai, I know
that being around California there will be Grizzly Bears. In Fallout 3 the Wasteland Scavengers had
both, I want the option too. I also want to see the Fat Man come back since that was my fave big gun.
As far as weapons, I already posted those. Cross hairs would be nice since I like to use both VATS
and FPS attacks. That's all for now.

a better dog, better weapons, customizable weapons, more weapons, more outfits that distinguish yourself from everyone else, and able to join a group or faction.

Oh I almost forgot, the ability to repair your weapons instead of paying a trader AND without having to have a spare weapon for parts. I mean come on
the only way I was able to repair the Alien Blaster was to use the Firelance and vice versa and I liked both weapons.

As FO3 was on such a grand scale (things like weapons, enemies, story length, even the map was impressive) FONV should take that to a new level. An extensive Arsenal, a wide range of enemies, a long story, and a large map would continue the winning formula that has made TES and FO series so awesome! Some more important moral choices will also be great, I had fun with the variety of ways you could approach a situation in FO3, but I think that can be taken further, for example, moral choices should have a large effects on the world and people around you, the moral choices should also affect your character respectively as well, i.e. your appearance changes and your skills change. Oh ya, and we need more awesome radio stations to keep me content will blowing heads off! :fallout:

raider faction
mafia faction (come on it's las vegas)

Dungeons that were really hand-built, like the dunwich building (?) with the ghouls and stuff, even small detail elements, like I stumbled across a sewer pipe that led to a home-made bunker, with a skeleton couple, and food and toys for the baby I assume they were planning on having. Erie, and sad, it adds great atmosphere.

It would be neato if there were a regional nuka cola bottling plant that you could restore to working order for the right price.

Cyborgs are half-human, half-robot. Androids are robots that look, feel, act, etc. like a human.

Vertibirds

  • Be able to steal Vertibirds: Whether it's not operating at the moment or touching down, you should be able to kill the pilot of Vertibirds and high-jack it so you can fly it around.

  • Armed Vertibirds: I realize that in Fallout 3 some Vertibirds would occasionally drop mini-nukes and that's cool, but I am pretty sure that there should be a gun on the Vertibird, like a powerful Minigun. When the enemy has an armed Vertibird it should shoot at you, if you high-jack the Vertibird you can fly it around and shoot the gun however this will attract attention and enemies with heavy guns will shoot at you.

  • Fleets of Vertibirds: Maybe in a random encounter, you can watch a fleet of Vertibirds attack their enemy. If there is Vertibirds, why can't there be fleets? I'm sure if the faction wants to give a large blow to it's enemy, fleets would be a priority.

  • Look out below! When an enemy wants to get the troops out of a Vertibird they don't just land down and wait for them all to storm out, that's not very smart and will get you killed. The enemy should instead sometimes jump out of Vertibirds with parachutes or remain in a hover position in the area while shooting at enemies and letting the troops rappel down a rope.

As of 2278 the only guys with Vertibirds are going to be the Brotherhood of Steel from one coast or the other.

Yeah, I'm sure that got really far once they actually tried to build one with those guys in power armor on the next block.

There should be a minimum of three radio stations. One Super Mutant that we know about, hope it's not an all-talk station. another run by the new vegas dj, playing classic tunes, and a third that broadcasts NCR propaganda.

Doesn't need to be music. Could just be propaganda.
