I've already informed the wife she will be a New Vegas Widow for the next 100 or so hours. It seems she's used to it!

I kinda liked Allistair, but I did wonder about the background of an educated well-spoken Englishman and what his post-war ancestors must have been like for the generations in the 200 years leading up to Allistair being born and heading State-side. Hehe. He should have been Al Halfpenny from what remained of Sarf Landan, a character straight out of a Guy Ritchie movie. Heh ha.

Do it, this is the one game I can think of that I will pick up at midnight. I will be on my way in another hour or so, and no work tomorrow. And yes, I am 35 with a wife, two kids, and a career. Enjoy.

I got really lucky - on short term disability until next Monday - just waiting to pick up game and then.... well, my 12 pack sitting in the fridge and waiting with me until 12:01am. After that all I have is eat and bathroom from time to time. It's been long wait for this game and I know it's well worth it. It's time to pick up game at my local game stop now. Guys, enjoy this one and I hope all of you will have some time off to wonder the wastelands.

Actually that sounds like a good idea for a test. It would encourage creative thinking by envisioning such a scenario and looking through the many possible affects such a thing would have on all economies around the world.

Best test I got back in my Academy days in the 90s, what we call High School in the US, was being asked to write a short story based on the Snow Goose, so I did, I wrote a story looking at the end of the story and how the male lead died and what he was thinking and feeling as he was helping the soldiers to safety.

Oh, the irony. Here I am sitting In the parking lot of my local GameStop about to pick up New Vegas. Low and behold, since about 4:30 today I have legitimately been feeling terrible. And the feeling is getting worse. Sore throut, congested, all that crap. It's actually pretty funny. I guess the good thing is now this will actually go down as a sick day and not a personal day (personal days are more valuable). I'm roughing it out but I doubt I'd go to work feeling like this, especially since it will be much worse in the morning. Either way, it's almost time. Just thought I'd share. This was an interesting post. Made me laugh a few times.
