After playing skyrim for a long time and discovering all of its imperfections, would you still have bought it?
I have played many hours already, and i think that skyrim has more bad things than good things, therefore i have thought about this question many times, but then i try to think of any other game that can actually give us more than 100 hours of fun gameplay and i can't, therefore, yes i would still have bought it. What about you?

Skyrim has been wasting away my life for the past 3 weeks. I've only come across a few flaws (so far) and I'm going to say, I would've bought this game no matter what.

But I haven't found any imperfections in Skyrim. So yes, I'd still buy it again, as I'm having as much fun as the day I got the game.

Yup.

I haven't found these flaws people talk about. What I have found is quite possibly the best, most detailed, and more complex RPG's I've ever played.

If I didn't buy it at release I would have bought it on the steam sale when it was $40 but I don't regret it the CK is and always will be the reason why I bought Skyrim in the first place.

I feel the fun you can have is Skyrim is worth overlooking some glitches until they get fixed. So, in the end, yes I would still buy it.

I almost got LA Noire when it was on sale on steam, but I didn't and kinda regretted it until a friend bought it and played for an hour and quit.

Yes! It's an outstanding game, just not as a RPG. But very entertaining on it's own terms.

I would have bought Skyrim anyway, as even though I play on the PS3, it provided (more or less) almost the exact experience I thought it would.

Yes.

L.A. Noire on the other hand . . .

I can't even bring myself to start Homicide because of Skyrim. Concept of the game is sweet, and overall pretty fun...

People who think dialogue is too short in Skyrim should definitely give LA Noire a shot. :ermm:

Definitely. I was prepared for problems at release because it's always this way because the games are so huge. I know the patches are coming and it'll be better; that always happens too. No one should buy at release unless they're prepared to deal with it...it can be stressful but it's also so much fun. These are the games I love to play...FO3, FNV, Oblivion and now Skyrim. They're the best. :tes:

I traded FO:NV in, because I got bored of it and thought Skyrim would be better.

Yes I would still buy Skyrim.

I am going to buy it. Nothing has been a surprise... and my plan was always to wait at least until February before picking it up ~that changed with the announcement of the CS being made available in January. I plan to buy the game as soon as I see the CS up for download.

Yeah, I still would've bought it. All of the games had their imperfections. When Daggerfall first released, it crashed like a drunk driver until they finally patched it to playable status. Morrowind and Oblivion were no exception although, for me, they didn't crash quite as much. I expected glitches and imperfections and they're certainly there. But, it would take considerablably more effort on their part to screw it up to where I would'nt want to have anything to do with it.

Yes, I would still spend the money. All of the little patches (except for the 1.2 patch) have been improvements, I can enter places today that would cause an instant CTD on 11/12/11. I do not like some aspects of the game, but I can work around most of the glitches and bugs.

I love Skyrim... The only reason I might regret getting it is because I play it too much. I honestly think it's the best RPG I've played in a lot of ways. Dragon age Origins offers more personal dialogue, but sometimes it gets too personal; to the point I'm down right annoyed by the characters. Skyrim hit the mark for me... I am damn glad I bought it, and am very happy with it despite all the glitches.

No other game has had such beautiful music, graphics and crazy fun game play. No regrets.. none at all.
