I still want nothing, OB has NOTHING over skyrim, the only thing that would make skyrim better is a morrowind like story/quest line and that's it.

acrobatics and athletics meant nothing to me and I NEVER EVER picked the acrobatics skill, it seemed lame and still does, magic was lame in OB and MW too many colored ball effects and not enough ...well magic .... now we get channeled, ball, beam, wall, ring, shell...etc it needs more spells for sure but its wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than the lame fest we had in OB, combat is just light years away from OB and MW mess, its still kinda slash-y but its a step forward.

More types of undead
Longer and better factions
more factions (see Morrowind)
Bigger cities
More side quests (again, see Morrowind)
The Shivering Isles (I hope we get an equally fantastical setting for a future expansion)
certain weapon material needed for hurting ghosts
More spells
Leveled destruction

I don't care about spell crafting as I think all crafting makes the game too easy, but I have no problem with it being there. Since so many people want it, I hope Beth includes it. I thought I would miss armor degradation, but thinking about it now I don't miss it at all. In fact, if they did bring it back I would want it to happen way slower than it did in Morrowind and Oblivion.

Oh! The number one thing for me would be separate armor and greaves. For that matter bring back pauldrons and make right and left gauntlets and boots as well. We should be able to wear two rings.

Two things: Attributes, and better quests! Oblivion's quests were far more creative, better written, and more fun than Skyrim's.

Also darker dungeons and being able to see your character in the menu. Why the eff did they ever think it was a good idea to remove that?

The Daedric ruins from Morrowind would be AMAZING.

I miss the mechanics from Morrowind, but I agree, if I had to choose one thing it would be better quests/writing. That kind of stuff determines how much staying power a game will have.

Too bad TES will most likely be an open-world COD set in Tamriel by the time TES 10 rolls around :stare:

I left him in an oblivion gate. ._.
The one with the great sigil stone ._.
I took 3 people with me into the Great Gate. the DB Khajiit Assassin, Someone from the Mages Guild, And Phil [the adoring fan] Scar-Tail [DB Assassin] and The Mages guild guy [ i totally forgot what i named him] were alive when i left but they didn't come threw the gate with me. and Phil was dead on the ground under the siege machine. at this point i didn't realize that Phil respawned so i went into a bed to level up and my character awoke with Phil standing right next to him. it scared the hell outta me.

Is there anything from Oblivion that Morrowind didn't have before and Skyrim doesn't now? I can't think of anything.

Except an arena?(I mean a functional one.)

I would bring back Oblivion. Portals to Oblivion. I know it wouldn't make sense lore wise but maybe an expansion. Return to Oblivion?
Actually lore wise there should be a destroyed portal here and there unless they disassembled those things.

Me: No loot scaling.

The clothes and shoes.
That's assuming that there is no chance in hell of Skyrim's terrible journal ever being sorted. In hindsight, Oblivion's is a damn fine read, relatively speaking.

The disposition system (without the minigame).

I thought of the attributes, spellmaking, arena, better guild questchains first. Those would improve the gameplay, but what ultimately hurts roleplaying is the lack of player recognition/disposition in the game.
