Something is puzzling me...
Where do the Nords bury their deads? There are barrows and graveyards, but they are all ancient, and haunted by Draugrs. Did they cease to bury their lost relatives? I think it would be nice if we saw some ceremonies where late citizens are burried, or burnt. It would add to immersion, and also provide possible (possibly radiant) quest triggers. For example, some unscrupulous attendant could tell you that this dead guy had a coveted armor and ask you, whispering, to find it. As a necromancer, you could propose to a desperate widow to perpetuate her wedding in the Olenveld fashion. You could hear a rumor about a family secret, be asked to investigate about the death of the one to be burried, learn that he'll be buried with a precious amulet. Some attendant could ask you to punish someone who didn't come to the ceremony, or you could be asked by the dead's brother to find the dead's illegitimate son and either kill him or give him some amulet previously owned by his father. The attendants could be attacked by assassins... I think the possibilities are many... Wouldn't it be a nice feature for a DLC/add-on/update?
I would love it if we got some "Aftermath" quests, alowing us to explore the consequences of existing quests.
Spoiler For example, after the quest about the Forsworn Conspiracy in Markarth, you could see Eltrys' ghost in your dreams, and he could ask you to protect his wife, or to find his body and burry him, or to find his father's valuable shield and bring him to his wife. Or you could spontaneously meet her and reveal her what happened to Eltrys.
After the quest named "The Blessings of Nature", in case you chose to replace the old Gildergreen, some items could be carved in its sacred wood. A bow, a complete set of armor, a staff, an amulet, a circlet, a statue, a spear, rings. Danica could tell you that some of those belong to you now, while other should be given to Maurice Jondrelle, Sond or Asta. Maybe the statue is intended to be placed in the Orphan Rock to cleanse it and protect the Spriggans living there from a return of Hagravens?
I think that such "Aftermath" quests could add depth to the game. Also, it would be nice if some new possible choices were added to already existing quests.
