Dawnguard and Future DLC Discussion - Thread #33

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 9:10 pm

Dawnguard already appears under "Dawnguard Quests Completed" which, to me, makes it appear as if it's a faction.

And the name "Dawnguard" doesn't sound like a place. It sounds like a title or faction. Or both.

That could just refer to quests from the dlc completed. Like "Shivering Isles quests completed"

If the DLC winds up being a couple of quests involving vampires and/or werewolves, I will literally break down and cry.

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooo not interested in "Twilight - the Skyrim chronicles."
I only hope Vampires do get confined to sidequests...

I just want new lands to explore and new quests involving the current situation of unreast; that's the bread and butter of TES series.

Personally, I felt the whole "OMGZ DRAGONS!!!" was way too boring and cliche, but Bethesda did a good job. I'm sure they'd do a good job at vampires, but I agree, I would by no means prefer it.

Looks like "Hearth Fire" may be the next expansion!

Isn't hearth fire the name of a month in the TES universe?

True. They aren't boring at all to me :-)

The first vampire was Lamae Beolfag, and I am pretty sure she is a woman because Molag Bal [censored] her and she died after that and became the first vampire, if he [censored] a little girl that is jacked up.

She was indeed [censored] by Molag Bal, to the extent of being near death. She was then found by a tribe of nomads where she die a fortnikght later. She then came alive where she then slit the throats of the women, ate the eyes of the children, and ravished the men just as hard as Molag Bal had did to her.

Sorry I meant only to say High Rock.

I also agree. It was just a thought though.

Hey I heard that Patch 1.6 was also datamined and revealed some coffin puzzle and other stuff. Anyone know where I can find a list of all the interesting stuff found in the datamine?

Where does it say that?

Maybe this coming weekend or maybe Monday we will get a time slot like we did for Skyrim at E3.

And we better get to see it, none of this "press only" BS

Remember what happened last time you gave IGN some exclusive coverage.

We don't want to party with the dragons.

(well, sheogorath might)

Oh man, that was a joke...

"And next up we have Todd Howard and Skyrim, the next installment in the Oblivion series"

And Tuesday is when E3 starts, so whatever Xplay has planned it has to do with Dawnguard.

Back when we were first beginning to get skyrim info, there were many things news sites did that would make you rage. I beleive I heard one ask todd if the game "is basically fallout with swords right?"

I swear IGN was purposely trolling though. Instead of asking todd questions the fans were begging them for in the comments the fat troll asks "can we party with the dragons?"

Anyways, back to topic.

Haha..
I hate how these people get all the news :) when most of them dont know much about elder scrolls..
And we deserve to get news and gameplay,Better to show the fans instead of someone that maybe isnt even a fan of skyrim.

Indeed, I remember a lot of stupid stuff. 80% of it from IGN.

Remember the whole Dark Souls vs Skyrim fiasco?

Indeed, it didn't feel like Memorial Day weekend happened.
