The Werewolf Situation 2: Werewolf Harder.

This only makes me see lycanthropy as being more of a curse than a blessing.
To some. In my opinion, food is food. Innocent or not. As long as I survive and keep my own powers, it's all good. Survival of the fittest some would say. Thartsten-Heart Feng from Bloodmoon enjoyed being a werewolf.

Even Daggerfall. There was a man who killed himself because he did not like being a Lycanthropy. However, he had a son after he was infected so his son caught the curse. Most werewolves are moody and angry, being "beffudled" by the Beast as a person ingame mentioned. Often going crazy and becoming wandering lunatics or gibbering idiots because they can't cope with being human and beast. Even in their human form, there is still an animalistic entitity within them.

The Werewolves in Skyrim, at least the Circle of the Companions anyway, don't seem to mind their curse. And, they retain ALL their intelligence--including intelligent speech, and witty one-liners--in wolf-form. They also don't mind their transformation whatsoever. (This can be seen, and read, when you witness your first werewolf transformation in the Companions). Someone said the Werewolves in Skyrim are very (very!) similar to the Underworld's series Werewolves.

What better way to know your enemy than to become him?

Well, I see it as, what better way to defeat an enemy than to make him become one of you? Thus, I see joining the enemy as being greatly dishonourable and one of the worst ways to be defeated by an enemy.

They seemed to evolve over the centuries then. Hopefully this will explained in-game. I heard a book ingame called the "werewolf princess", but the author of the article could of mistaken it for "Wolf Queen." which has no ties to werewolves.

Although I didn't understand why one said "I still feel the call of the Blood."

The other replies "It is our burden to bear."

Does he mean Beastblood? The lust for blood?

Well, that's if you are selfish. Eventually, the people you will have to kill to satiate your werewolf hunger will outweigh the value of the werewolf as a person, and thus the werewolf will become a menace to society and civilisation. Unless, of course, the werewolf is actively involved in hunting down criminals or manages to limit his killings to that of criminals.

This only makes me see lycanthropy as being more of a curse than a blessing.
Well many people say I am heartless so... Anyway as a werewolf you could go with a Batmanesque way of killing the criminals and you are kind of a hero rather than a monster. And no matter what anyone says lycanthropy is a blessing.

As a werewolf, will we be able to do the Dragon Shouts?
I think it does a roar instead, causing foes to flee.
I think.

That's cool,, and I'm glad we can't use shouts as a werewolf seems unfair and not very werewolf like.

How do NPCs react to your transformation? Say I'm with a group of Legionaries storming a Stormcloak fortress, if I turn into a werewolf to help the Legionaries win, will they end up attacking me as well?

Those who commit acts of violent evil will know my name...Seek refuge in the darkness of their lairs, caves, and holes...Their fear will grow like the darkness that surrounds them...Foolishly thinking that they can hide from their sins, they will seek refuge from the wolf that will arrive on their doorstep...And the wolf will weigh their foul deeds against their black beating hearts...Ripped from their chests in payment of the debt of their vile sins...

Crazy as in they, or guards at least, will attack you? From that, I would assume that any followers won't take it very kindly either...

When you say they go crazy do you mean they attack you or start freaking out and running away?

Epic! I can't think of a better way to kill vampires than as a werewolf.

Is it like Morrowind though and when they see you the whole province knows you are a werewolf or just that town? And will they forget after awhile?

I kinda hope some NPCs will hesitate attacking you- especially those that KNOW you're the "Dovahkiin."

Thats actually a good question about followers... I mean... hmm that could be a problem, unless of course they too are also a werewolf. If they are a spouse then I think they would be okay and you'd probably share that tid bit of information with them... hmm... this is a very interesting question.

That is how it was in Morrowind as long as no one saw you transform into a werewolf or back to human you were good. But if someone did see you the whole province would know you were a werewolf forever. I'm hoping that is not the case.
