Most people stop playing a game and return to it when DLC is released.
Indeed...and also, I still play Morrowind and Oblivion. Though, Skyrim has pretty much occupied most of my gaming time since its release. I stopped to play ME3 then got back onto Skyrim as soon as I finished. I've played probably 300 hours in Morrowind (never finished it because it's freakin' huge) , probably 1000+ hours on Oblivion with many different characters and I've probably logged like 300 hours now with Skyrim, finished the main quest with one of them and now RP about 5 or 6 chars. This is on an Xbox 360 now until I save up and decide on a much better gaming PC for my mod fest later.
I started the series on MW, played TES at some point through the years on PC, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PS3 and honestly, over the last ten years I haven't had one game-breaking bug , that I can recall. Heck, I couldn't even tell you if Skyrim glitched the last time I played it, which was twently minutes ago. You know what though, it probably did, and I don't care. All I can remember is how fascinated I am by all this lore and playing a video game that for me doesn't end when I turn off my console or PC. I'm constantly on UESP just reading for all the background info on what I've encountered in the game, reading all the books I can find in game. Not even Dragon Age's lore has me this enthralled.
When I look at the overall picture, Bethesda has not disappointed me in the least and I have no issue with the amount of money I've shelled out for their TES products over the years. Anyway, my point is I'm way too engrossed in enjoying my RP experiences in Skyrim right now to be overly bothered by a lack of info on upcoming DLC. It'll get here when it gets here.
