Played it for about 3 hours before I concluded it was a mess of a game not worth my time.

The only thing it really had going for it was exploration, but too bad everything else was so poor I couldn't even enjoy that, I was really surprised that Bethesda could make a game even more mediocre in terms of gameworld design, writing and story then Fallout 3. Well at least they had more then 5 voice actors this time.

Bethesda, what happened to you? its like you ditched RPG's in favor of hack and slash walking sims, while streamlining it to the point when Fallout 5 comes out the game will play it self for you.

[censored] it, I'm going to make my own RPG, with Black Jack, and hokers.

I've stopped playing for the time being. Not because I'm really bored, but more because I need more things to do. It's time for the Creation Kit imho.

About to hit 500 hours, and took two days off this week to have a break from it and play some strategy games. I'll hit it again tonight or tomorrow.

Nope, can't bring myself to it. I will only end up being more negative about the game then I already am.

Nope, I'm done with it for the time being, I was expecting more from it, we'll see once DLCs are out if it's worth coming back or not.

Well, I have The Witcher2 and I can't get into it. Totally action oriented and I hate QTEs. I wish I could get into it because I hate the idea that I spent $50 for nothing but I can't.

Skyrim is a lot more action oriented than Witcher 2. Witcher 2 is infinitely better at being an RPG than Skyrim is. Skyrim is more like an action adventure game than an RPG. Very rarely do you get to make a meaningful decision that changes anything beyond a bit of dialogue.

So why exactly do people who sell their game because they thought it was boring keep coming to this forum?

See now i was as hyped as the next TES fan on the release of skyrim. hell i took the week off work and sent my wife and kids away so i could enjoy it without interruption. and though it is a thourghly good game i have not played it for about 3weeks now not due to boredom but the wealth of other games i have yet to give my attention to. and also i have owned OB since release so whats that?...5-6 yeras? have had 7 playthroughs and only actually copmpleted the MQ and all other guilds once but never all the NPC quests so i have no worries about not playing skyrim as i will play it and complete it over severeal years just as i did OB.

The month following the release I played every single day and it seemed like the game would stay as interesting all the way until Spring or so. Now I haven't played Skyrim nearly as actively since the end of 2011. I know I will pick up the game again some day for further playing, as I did with Oblivion after getting tired of it back in the day. At the latest when the first downloadable content comes out.

Nope. Back to Morrowind again.
I will pick it up again though. Still need to get through the DB, just never really care too much for psycho-religious assassins.

I think the majority of people just don't have anything left to do. I got Skyrim for Christmas and am done everything at level 78. and when I say everything I mean everything. was an awesome game and got more hours out of it then any game I've played in a long time. I check these forums every day to see if any DLC has been released because I cant wait to play it more. I was actualy considering buying a good desktop just so I could play it with mods. il just wait for the DLC

Wish I didn't get it for PS3 and I could be bored of it too, instead of just not being able to play it due to crappy coding. I went back to New Vegas, as that's an actual RPG where choices dictate how the world changes and I don't feel like a passing outsider in a world that has more than 2 choices for outcomes that truly don't matter.
