Demo will be coming out on thursday(feb 4th). All I heard is that it's on Xbox live, I'm pretty sure it's on ps3 and pc too but I don't know for sure.

It's reliable information. I saw it posted on a video somewhere but I can't find it now. Last I heard the consoles were getting it first and the PC would get it later. Hopefully that was just a rumor.

Excuse my extreme skepticism.

I have Aliens vs Predator Gold Edition which has the 2000 AvP game with the Millennium Expansion Pack and it is quite fun. The skirmish mode in single player is great when you are a Colonial Marine and are being attacked by a lot of Aliens at one time. Multiplayer had a max of 8 players. The Alien was the best for me because you could walk on any surface and easily ambush those stupid marines. You could get disoriented pretty easy because you could jump all over the place and lose all sense of direction as an Alien.

I also have AvP Extinction it was ok as a console RTS. It had plenty of levels in the three campaigns but there was no random play mode and you were limited to 30 units.

I look into the new one but if it is too short I probably won't waste my time on it. I don't have much faith in Rebellion anyway.

The classic one is fun in multiplayer but not as fun as i thought it would be based on other peoples opinions of it.

Predator didn't really feel like the predator to me.

I couldn't even get into a game. The first two I tried joining took way too long to connect and the third time I finally got into the lobby, but it just kept refreshing every few seconds.

Multiplayer demos are meh. :meh:

I tried the demo, twice it took to long to connect so I just aborted it. I'll wait and see how people like the full game, unless I have a bunch of friends go out and buy, which doesn't look likely considering everyone is drooling over Bad Company 2, I will wait for a sale or for the price to go down.

I've been "Searching for games" for over five minutes. The menu is pretty cool to look at at least.

I actually got into a game. It's pretty cool. Not too different from AvP2 from what I can tell but I only played as the marine so far. I'm gonna try the alien and see how well I do.

Edit: You know we could always try the invite friends thing to see if we can get a game going that way. My steam name is "Lemunde" if anyone wants to give it a try.

I've seen all 4 Alien movies and both Predator and both AVP movies, and all we at least decent. I've never played any of the games, though, I'll be looking forward to this one.

Played a round with each race and it was meh. Definitely not as good as AvP2's multiplayer. I will probably buy this game in some Steam sale for the single player.
