I think I'm missing somewhere between 500 and 1000 posts from my count.

I'm missing 1,581.

Fugly, eye straining and there do not seem to be any options to change the gagtacular graphics.

Whoop-dee-doo.

This is pathetic. I'd really hate to see what change does to you all in "real life"

Ever hear of being adaptable? It gets you much, much further in life when you aren't freaking out over every little thing that changes.

 It's really just annoying, quite frankly. Don't like it? Don't come here, simple as that. It's not even that bad, I don't understand what everyone is freaking out about. My dad is a privately contracted graphics designer, who works for companies like Giant bikes and Scott USA. He designs all sorts of bikes, skis, goggles etc etc. I showed him the forums and asked what he thought of the design, and he thought they were jazzy. I just don't get why you all hate it so much.

For me, so far it's much slower.

Will be,not is-he said at the start of the first of these threads that it would get faster, then somewhere else said it was getting faster soon.

They're working on it.

@ raistlinmajere,my only major complaint is that it gives me a head ache to look at the forums now, these forums have one of the best communities, and hands down the best moderators I've ever seen on internet forums,I don't see why I can't complain a bit about their changes.

They also SERIOUSLY need to put a link to CD on the front page, instead of burying it within the sub-forums.

Why. These are the forums for Bethsda Softworks, CD is another sub forum within them and linked from every game forum, it doesn't need a place on the landing page.

Why not just bookmark it whilst you are here you can get straight to it bypassing everything else. :)

And so ended the great forum outage of 2010. The world slowly returned to normal.

(Hate the new layout BTW, just fixing something that isnt broken...)

I'm not sure what to think of it. Right now it's giving me a slight headache. Eventually I'm thinking there will probably be themes added. Maybe I'll just get used to it, but it seems kind of messy to me despite having seperate game categories.

This definitely. I don't like having to go digging to find CD.

It ain't even that bad, the only valid complaint is that some people are getting headaches over it. I think some of you are taking this " wa I don't like it" a bit far

I'm also a graphic designer by trade, and I say they look f'n horrible. But I've always hated the aesthetics of "Web 2.0".

But to gripe on people complaining about "change"? No, we're mostly pointing out all the new flaws that have come about. Such as longer loading times (when we're told that it was to IMPROVE those times), counter-intuitive layouts, non-scaling architecture, etc.Hell, the new site has been up what, a couple hours? And it's already crashed once.

Why. These are the forums for Bethsda Softworks, CD is another sub forum within them and linked from every game forum, it doesn't need a place on the landing page.

Why? Because I only come here for CD. That's why. ;)

And I don't like bookmarking things. It lets people know what I do with my free time. :ninja: Besides, it was much easier to remember &viewforum=18.

Yeah I've heard of it. Now it's my impression forums are used to communicate. Now if many members either can't or get eye strain trying to communicate. Then forums become redundant, no?

For those of us who prone to migraines these aren't "little changes". The bright white on the black background is rather painful to read.

The answer is simple, it didn't. But it was done anyway. Untill I hear a valid reason for this upgrade I'm sticking to that opinion, I hate to sound like a whining [censored] but this "upgrade" has seriously ruined one of the few places on the internet I actually visit(ed) every day.

The worst part is, there's so many things here I want to stick around for, but this new layout is causing physical pain, and that's just to much. I'll probably pop by to check on the Mass Effect 2 thread, but I doubt I'll be active anymore beyond that, a shame really. I liked this place.

Same here.I came here just about every day but it's a bit of a pain. Why fix what is not broken?I won't go as far as leaving but it is going to take a good deal of time to get use too.

Are some of you guys natural whiners?
Its a completely redone forum, updated to new software. Be patient, this is what happens to computers....

No,I can understand the lag at first but it is everything else that gets to me.
