Bethesda, I really hope Dawnguard isn't your "big" D

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 1:35 pm

I actually managed to squeeze out at least 10 hours from each Fallout 3/New Vegas DLC except for Honest Hearts which took me 6 hours to complete everything. I hear so much mudslinging when that person hasn't even explored fully or acquired each unique item. Some people amaze me. And btw, even I skip some dialogue and I still manage 10 hours for most dlc.

And if Castle Dawnguard has an epic room ready for decorating, you can be damn sure it'll have more than 20 hours with me.

It won't be as long as a full expansion?

No [censored], this isn't an expansion it's a DLC, it doesn't have to be.

Even as a DLC it has more content than other DLCs and with 2 or 3 more DLCs coming out we are going to get more varied content with just one or two full expansions.

This is TODD HOWARD we're talking about. There's a reason this is a minor meme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ne1fVhvL00

This man spews more lies out of his mouth than anyone else in the business.

I see you haven't met Peter Molyneux...

I don't see how the OP can act like they already know how long the DLC is or what it entails and what kind of content it adds when it hasn't even come out yet. Just my two cents.

You might be right, you might not. But again, this is TODD HOWARD. Very good odds you're setting yourself up to be disappointed if you take what he says and assume HE is providing you with a bare minimum and being modest about the actual size. Nah, that doesn't sound like Todd.
Hahaha for the video XDDD...

Oh yes. Even though you can't choose a civilization (stuck with the Greeks) you can enjoy many hours building the city of your dreams. My favorite level was the 2nd after the tutorial, the land of the Norse, like Skyrim

Its pathetic that people are defending Bethesda. The game took a bunch of stuff from game jam, added a castle and made everything dark. It doesnt look like a new area.

According tohttp://howlongtobeat.com/gamebreakdown.php?gameid=1589 site the average completion time for point lookout was 4:30 hours, while Shivering Isles and KoTN both average 15 h, hmmm I feel that Dawnguard won't be that long after all maybe 8 h for the MQ and another 4-5 h for the sidequests? Hope the Beta Testers can give us a more accurate average if they are allowed to

One thing I can say: I will buy it , but I won't even start it , I never even finished the MQ , and I want to. 400 hours.
That's called dedication.
