Honestly, when I found out that you can't play after you beat the game, I saved, turned it off and set it down. I will wait for a DLC which allows me to continue playing after I finish the Hoover Damn quest. It just defeats the purpose of playing, doing all this build up to this grand finalé if when I finish, I can't use my character anymore and I have to start all over. Just seems pointless. So my suggestion is a DLC where I can at the very least roam around the Wasteland and finish up side quests or just adventure for loot and gear, just to kick it.

maybe for a new dlc enviroment you could do something like a frozen hell-scape in the northern united states, or even in the rocky mountains, think about all the new stuff you could add to gameplay; with hardcoe mode the freezing tempetures would do harm to your health over time and you would need to find a campfire to un-freez water that you find, new creatures, new friends, new enemies, ect. Just a thought though hope its considered for a dlc after lonesome road.

I liked the Atmosphere of The Pitt. I also like the RTS mod and wasteland Defense.

So what if They made a DLC which adds several new towns to the wasteland and it's your job to either make them go to war against each other, Make them settle their differences and set up trade routes or tell the NCR or Caesars legion about the new towns and have either on set up shop in them.
Each town would have a different thing they would specialize in and have a different problem.
Town #1: would have an abundance of food but due to the towns location mutated creatures stalk people outside the city walls and they would be lacking the fire power to actually have caravan escorts because they used to be small town that wasn't very industrious or expansive.
Town #2: A town built around a Survivalist Bunker, it would have a lot of ammo a lot of guns and excellent marksmen. However they aren't to big on Expansionism and although they are good with a gun they don't have a lot of people to pick them up.
Town #3: A large group of caravans and families recently inhabited the town to get away from Caesars legion and the NCR's taxes. Having used up a lot of their ammunition on the long trip to the town the the caravans and families take up residence in the town which also has a super-duper mart and lies right between the first and second towns.

London Bridge at Lake Havasu. That would be interesting. Some tribe that made it's home on it or something.

The Mojave National Preserve.

Death Valley.

Zion National Park.

I'd like to go to any of those places in a DLC. More weapons, armor, and gear is always a good idea too. Oh, and...

... remove the level cap.

I think "the divide" is Death Valley, but no-one else seems to think so, probably for very good sound reasons lol

Everytime i think of a lonesome road i think of Death Valley so it really is not so far fetched and also when i imagine Death Valley this level from a game called Cruisin' USA (for N64 really old driving game) comes to mind.

While I wouldn't mind Fallout in Great Britain I don't see how we're suppose to traverse over an entire continent then an entire ocean to get to it.

Fallout 3 did have a mod that allowed the player to travel to other places. One of the places was a europian city.

In Fallout NV there ARE rockets. A player could get a radio signal that leads him to the cockpit of a rocket. The door could slam closed, the rocket could take off, the pod the player is in could detach and parachute down just about anywhere on earth.

Didn't Mr. House create a theme park before the bombs fell? I wonder what it's like now...

In a post about fallout 4 I suggested a location could be fallout pre americas version of a theme park, replete with frontier land (full of fallout 1,2 and NV references), Tomarrow Land (wouldn't you love to see that worlds visions of tomarow?) and an epcot center in which we see fallout pre war americas view of other countries.

Raiders, mutants and ghouls could dress in the old employee costumes. Coming up against a ghoul in a princess dress would make me poo myself. And never mind those animal costumes.

Perhaps the descendants of the original engeneers live below the surface still creating a better tomarow or some such crap. Definatly at least one gibberingly mad scientist is down there.

The interiors would be the various rides, hotels and under structures.

It would be better as an entire game but a small version of it could be a DLC.

1. A mod? What's that`? Some kinda fancy PC thing? (Jokes aside, I won't discuss mods when discussing DLC's.)

2. And how is the player character suppose to be able to drive a rocket?
I mean, if I were to sit down in a rocket cockpit I'd be able to drive it. :disguise: (not)
And what if I sent all three rockets away?

It's too far fetched for me.

Can't work that way, I killed the Boomers, I should not be excluded from DLC's cause of my actions in the game when I didn't even know it would give me such a heavy consequence.
The DLC's can't be excluded from "any" actions we've done in the main game.
So rockets? Nope.
Boomers? Nope.
Train? Nope. (NCR rep Vilified)

I'd like to see a DLC that takes you to China to see what happened to the other side after the war.

dan.

There was actually supposed to be a fallout FPS about 10 years back that was going to/did (idk if it ever materialized) run you through Alaska, into Russia, then eventually all the way into the Forbidden City (The Palace-City of the Chinese Emperor).

well, think about the Fallout 3 DLC, Point Lookout, the ferry you use to get to the Point used to run up and down the coast, it isn't that much of a stretch to go across the Atlantic. Or, if you wanted to go to Asia, just go through Alaska, then go by way of Russia, since some of that infrastructure would still be around; since they wouldn't have been hit by actual nukes, just fallout.

The isolationist Boomers decide to fly all the way across America, the Atlantic ocean and then what?

I think others have a strange perception of how big the world actually is.
Sweden is not a very big country when compared to US which is almost half the north american continent and it's still a really really really long way to go from the north to the south.
So going across a continent and an ocean is too far fetched for me, especially since there isn't any reason to do so.
Why would the Courier want to do this enormous trip?
And consider the amount of enemies he'll meet on his travels.
This trip won't take a week, it'll take at least half a year.
What are Legion and NCR going to do?
Wait until you get back?
It's too far fetched to make any sense to me.

But yeah, that's just me, gonna stop being a party pooper now. :P

While it is a really good concept, I think it would be, at this point, a moot point, since many of the current players don't actually know the history that was put together in previous games (Luckily my dad had the games, so I got to play!) I think people, although seeing that they were the enemy, and wanting to explore, wouldn't actually see the importance of going to china beyond the fact of "Hey I'm in China, they tried to kill us, and us them!"

Don't forget, that would take an unconscionable amount of fuel to get an outsider to another continent and get back.
