Slow and strong. Hated those damn cyclops and Thunderbirds. Good thing I had Archangels to resurect my units though.

Tis why my upgraded trolls bombed them first

Just how much have they been drinking at PC gamer?
To have Skyrim at No.2 is bad enough, but PORTAL as No.1?!
"Man's been hitting skooma I say."

Half life or Counter Strike should have got No.1.

Portal was good but it most certainly does not deserve the honor of being named the best game of all time. Neither does Portal 2.

EDIT: Oh yeah,
Nice list but wheres twilight princess? Its the best one!
Twilight Princess is so unremarkable it doesn't deserve a presence on any list anywhere.

I know this is PC games but in response to albinodunmer's list sorry albinodunmer but mass effect 2 can't touch the original mass effect.

2 took all the good out of the first one, gear, ammo, weapons w/ different attributes, cool physics behind the unlimited ammo/overheating w/ guns in the first was done so well then they completely remove it from the second one, plain stupid the original

Mass Effect and borderlands are the best RPing shooters around on console

Seriously the title is Mass Effect yet they took the "mass effect" out of the weapons in the sequel, like the technolgy got worse

Sorry for the rant but the original captivated me when I first played it, the second dissapointed me cause it made the game vanilla, boring, unispired

Edit: won't be playing the third if they fail to put armor/ammo/weapon upgrades and reintroduce the physics from their own damn story(overheating guns rather than picking up oodles of bullets

I played and completed most Zelda games. How theyre considered in top ten or top twenty for that matter is beyond me. I would put Skyrim in top 5 just for what it tries to accomplish and ultimately succeeds if not for some irritating glitches.

It is hard to say which games are in my top 10 but Skyrim is not. Both The Witcher games are worth a mention as is The Total War series totally love Empire Total war(after about 5 patches due to a insane release when it was not ready),Company of Heroes,Not sure if anyone played Return to Zork but i loved that game.I could name alot more but that is just a few.

No, Portal was as amazing as it was innovative... but yeah, BG is my #1 as well. (remember how the original came with like 27 discs lol, ah nostalgia)

Baldur's Gate 2 is the best game of all time

Planescape: Torment, Neverwinter Nights 2, Morrowind, Civilization 3, Age of Empires: Age of Kings, Diablo 2 etc. I personally enjoyed more than Skyrim as well

And I've never played Portal.

Honestly I am not sure where Skyrim falls on my list. Going to try to place it now hold on. I am leaving mods out of this btw.

1- Zelda- Ocarina of Time Master Quest (N64)
2- TES III: Morrowind (PC)
3- Final Fantasy X (PS2)
4- TES IV: Oblivion (PC)
5- Might and Magic XI: The Mandate of Heaven (PC)
6- Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
7- Dragon Age: Origins (Xbox 360)
8- Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360)
9- Civilization (PC)
10- Zelda- Wind Waker (Gamecube)
11- Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor (PC)
12- Zelda- Majora's Mask (N64)
13- Age of Empires II (PC)
14- Age of Mythology (PC)
15- Zelda- Skyward Sword (Wii)
16- Demon's Souls(might deserves a higher ranking) (PS3)
17- Dark Souls(might deserves a higher ranking) (Xbox 360)
18-TES V: Skyrim?? I guess? (PC)

Skyrim is my eight favorite game that I played on PC. Then again I have not played all that many games for PC.

The fact that you have not considered either bioshock or fallout leads me to believe that you were clearly under the influence of an illegal substance or other legal mind altering substance. Yes, you are forgiven but don't let me see talk this talk again.

LOL@Edit. Yeah, Portal 2 wasn't worth the cash for the length, but Portal (original) was in the Orange Box-- and free. It was too awesome for words.

I doubt Portal 1 would be rated as highly if it wasn't free.

According to this, it made #61. Baldur's Gate didn't even make the list, which I find nothing less than horrific.
Oh no... someone just missed the discover of "Opinion"!

The moment you could emulate CT on PC made CT > Skyrim as a PC game.

But, to take directly from PC games...

TRIBES
Half Life 2
Counter Strike
Team Fortress 2
Unreal
Quake
DOOM
Marathon

All should be higher than Skyrim.

And that's just in the FPS game category.
Could somone please explain to me what makes Half Life 2 so great? Personally I just don't see it. I mean I enjoyed the game. It was fun and whatnot, but thats it. There was nothing that made me thing "Wow, this game is awesome.". What am i missing?
