What do you think is the funniest reaction a NPC has said?

I'm not going to spoiler this because I can't imagine anyone not having done it by now. You're gathered around Irileth while she gives the little pep talk before you and the guards head out for your first dragon encounter. One of them whispers to you "We're so dead".
LOL! I missed that, will have to pay closer attention.

I lol'ed at the interaction between Farengar, Odahviing and the bystanders.

Droppe a buck of items in Whiterun after completing all the quests and house buying there. Lady runs up and picks them some of them handing me a single carrot back. When i looked back at tiems on the ground the three minor magic wepons were gone too. She took the weapons and gave me back a dang carrot! LOL

Random Bandit: Is that the best you can do?
Then I impale them with both swords, lifting them off the ground.
That's very funny when you hear it during the impaling. :) Or just before the guy loses his head.

My favorite was then I run into a group of vampires in a dungeon, they was running up the stairs and I was shooting them down as they come, felt pretty good afterward and Lydia's comment "I have not seen anything quite like that before" felt fitting.
Yes I know she was talking about structure and not my shooting but still.

I got the "Ooh...pretty colors" line while casting a restoration spell in a shop.

I also accidentally shot Farkas in the face with an arrow and he said, "Watch it, brother.", with an arrow through his head. He didn't seem to be too upset.

Try using the Storm Call shout when he's following you. FIrst hit by lightning, he says "Watch it there, sister", second lightning he says "All right, you want to go?" and leaves you and if you approach him turns hostile. Looks like somebody doesn't like being hit by lightning...

I agree with the original post. Has to be what happened but after a dragon attacked and they walk up to a none discript dead guard and said what happened bla bla bla and I was like the dragon, you know from 1 minute ago. The one you were punching!

Guard: "You see those warriors from Hammerfell? They've got curved swords... CURVED SWORDS!"
Yeah, that one's a favourite too.

But my number one is: "Found you!" or "There you are!" right after I cut the guy's throat with a stealth attack from being invisible. :lmao:

I was doing this to check something for that pickpocketing thread.

Camila Valerius: You're a strapping young man. Dont be a stranger.
*go into sneak and look at her inventory through pickpocket interface*
Camila: Keep your hands to yourself.

One epic today, was clearing out a fort and had to much to carry so I dropped some stuff and was ordering Lydia to pick it up, now while I was ordering Lydia on bandit comes by and asked "You dropped this, do you want it back or is it ok that I keep it?" about an enchanted axe, I said no and she attacked us.
Now it's nice that the bandits are more polite than in Oblivion where they only cursed me, it was also nice that she atacked me with her steel sword and not the enchanted orcish axe.

I killed a dragon near Dragonbridge and this little boy runs up, and with his 7 year old voice says "in all my years, I never saw such a thing!"
Why did that actor even record that line?

I love it when I am sneaking around Bandits, they say the funniest lines ever, just the most random stuff you can think of haha, Or when someone kills you, your sword/shield falls and they're like "Pick up your trash!" lol

I typed player.setrace dragonrace in console and walked past a guard and he said, "Guard might get nervous, a man approaching with his weapon drawn"

Have you seen those warriors from Hammerfell? They've got curved swords. Curved. Swords." ―Guards They say that second part of it as Im walking away and it sounds funny as I'm gaining distance from the guard saying it.

i use an upgraded iron sword when im melee situations, the simple design of an iron sword just feels right in this nordic setting, and the guards comment when i walk past i've heard three different ones so far:

"an iron sword is pretty unrelieable, you should probably visit the blacksmith while you're here."

"you're not going to do much damage with that pig-sticker!"

"iron sword huh? what are you hunting, butterflies?"

also an unrelated comment from a guard in windhelm:

"you're like me, favour a sword over those two handed weapons"...thing is she walked away and had a steel battleaxe on her back XD

Cicero in the Ratway:

"I never understood theives. They take people's things before they kill them ... and they call me crazy."

- Not exact but correct in substance and it was the best laugh I got.

Cicero as a dragonslayer:

Dragon flew out of range and Cicero says something like "where did he go."
Dragon comes back screaming fire down on Dawnstar.
Cicero says: "Ha, I found you!"
