from the beginning of DG it sounded kool but after just geassing the story it just sounded...well boring.... i mean i like vampires movies but... i dont know just something skyrim and DG just sounded boring... my point being is that while i want DG for my ps3 im not carying if it comes out now or 3 years from now.... the one i really want to be on time is hearthfire if that isnt on time (witch i doubt it will) thats really bad for Bethesda

Yo I just was Bs'in with one of my bros about Darksiders 2 and he got it at Gamestop. He said while he was there he was trying to coax some info about Dawnguard for the PS3 out of the guy, he go's there regularly and buys/sells games. He said all the guy said to him was "September". So I mean take it or leave it, to me that means probably the end of September. Its been like what 3 months going to be 4? So then I assume the end of the 4'th month after Hearthfire comes out will be the same time frame us PS3 users get Hearthfire as well.

A random Gamestop employee who probably hasn't been in touch with Bethesda told him what month the delayed DLC will come out? Sounds legit. Considering the DLC isn't released to Gamestop stores but rather the PSN store, you're 'friend' probably ins't telling the truth.

Apparently they have teams working on different Projects. So I'm Guessing the team working on Dawnguard for PS3 are either 2 or 3 lazy developers or Maybe they have only 1 person working to get Dawnguard running on PS3 alone....

Anyone that claims we have nothing to complain about is being foolish. If you're going to release a game for a system, you should support that version of the game the same way you do every other version. I understand that consoles can't currently have mods but that doesn't mean its acceptable for Bethesda to make a deal with Microsoft and ensure PS3 and PC can't get the first two DLCs for at least 30 days. If we aren't going to be treated in the same way when it comes to content, Bethesda shouldn't even develop for PS3. Yes, I'm saying that I'd rather Bethesda just not develop for PS3 rather than blatantly lie and say they are doing everything possible and the PS3 version is no different than the PS3 version.

That would be why I've been boycotting Skyrim since the end of July. I don't think its going to make Bethesda release it faster, I'm doing it for my own personal, moral reasons. If Bethesda doesn't want to treat the console I use in the same way they treat the 360, or they can't, then I'd rather them just not develop for it.

Wouldn't Game stop possibly have a redemption code for dawn guard? Or Signs for it in there store that they would set up on its release?

I've been perfectly fine with waiting, but really Bethesda, coming out with a new DLC for xbox when PS3 users haven't even gotten the first one.

Someone needs to contact Sony about this. Bethesda is making them look like the worst out of the two consoles when they do this.

I'm sick of the bull crap. every ps3 port they've made has been unplayable. I still can't play fallout 3. they have fixed nothing. I'm shocked they fixed the lag flitch, so ill give you that. but since when do they care about quality on ps3?

Sorry but I think you'll just get everyone's hopes up with this, they've been "so silent" for a month now. Nothing has changed.

Update. http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1407614-update-on-ps3-dlc/

So yeah, now I'm 99% sure we're not going to be getting Dawnguard.

edit: So why don't you open a freaking beta and MAYBE JUST MAYBE we can help you figure out some issues so you can solve them? You did it for the 360, so what could possibly go wrong? Patch 1.7 made my game worse when before it was doing just fine. If it's broken, you usually have a "don't fix it." policy, so why change it now?

Wow. Now I'm going to lose it. Stupid Bethesda. You've completely messed up and you can be sure I won't be investing ANY more money into your products. You've truly messed up. For gods sake.

You have the nerve to keep us in the dark for a whole month and then say this? You basically tell us it's "too difficult" for you? Well, I'm done. Good riddance.

Bethesda's problems with programming DLC for Fallout 3 was one of the major reasons that I chose to move away from the PlayStation 3 and go onto the Xbox 360, that and Mass Effect 2 (exclusive at the time). When I played Fallout 3, I had all sorts of problems getting the game to work on my PS3. Haven't had a number of those issues on my Xbox 360 copy. I really hate to be that guy, but if you guys are massive fans too, I'd recommend just picking up a gaming PC or 360. I have a gut feeling you guys may be in for a long wait otherwise, possibly never even seeing Dawnguard at all from what their update has said today. I have absolutely no idea why Bethesda has such trouble making games for the PS3, but those problems were precisely one of the reasons I changed systems.
