True. Or at least sincere in their efforts to get Dawnguard out.

I know some people don't believe what comes out of pete hines is mouth sometimes but this time I do.. Now if you have been following his tweets on DG.. He says that dawnguard works on the ps3 fine as it is then goes on to say about peoples huge save files which is the problem. So by the looks of things they have asked sony to come in to help with these save files on how to reduce them ect. I don't believe there's anything wrong with DG at all apart from it will add mass mb to current high mb save files which is probably making the bad performance for some people and not others like pete stated. I belive as soon as sony if/can help with those save files then ps3 will see dlc.

I'm sure theres plenty wrong with it but that's the main issue, and that when you get it it'll have bugs.

PC version had bugs, why not PS3?

Exactly Beth just doesn't care about the quality of products for the PS3 over a DLC it's way to out of place in my opinion.

lol my point is the quality of products they release on release date is always low compared to other products. They're bigger in scale, but filled with alot more problems regardless of system.

As a former PS3 player now PC player though, I'd say PS3 did have more problems.

But you can't really blame a company for releasing half assed products when people drool over the products begging to give money for said half assed products.

Many have sworn off bethesda on PS3, some bethesda in general, but many will still go back and buy every half assed product released.

Why pay double the money for double the quality when you'll only get like a 5-10% increase in sales?

It's more, they don't seem to focus enough on catching their own bugs both minor and major before releasing items. Perhaps that's starting to shift, but they definitely were releasing things that caused obvious problems.

Vampires still can't wear hoods on anything but PC (mods can fix)

The backwards flying dragons and water freezes should have been quick catches, and the framerate was always a problem so you'd think they'd look their first.

But everything is about trying to do things quick, and pouring a bottle of alcohol on an open wound trying to keep it from getting worse, but then forgetting that the bandaid wasn't put on and letting us roll in the dirt making it worse.

The 1.7 update on ps3 (technically 1.6, I don't think you can technically bundle a patch and call it by a new number. Essentially we skipped a patch but they renamed it to make it simpler and probably make PS3 feel better?)

It brought back frame rate issues. Every fix messes with someone elses game so, something I would assume is off.

Ya I suppose. But if a company shows care for thier products and customers then in the long run it will work out for them Beths way of going about things now are all for the short term but then one day will come and all gamers will just give up on them.

Well it's typically an american way of thinking honestly. Quick direct immediate fix and wait for another break.

If they took extra time in their products than people wouldn't hold it against them.

The only reason this situation is held so tightly against them is because everyone else got it bugged and all of a sudden they sounded like the PS3 was too good for bugs which of course, is a very suspicious thing. And it was rightfully suspicious, people thought they were honestly trying to make it bug free. But since day 1 I said wait a few months and you'll find out it's probably still not gonna be out for a while and that there were some large bugs the other systems didn't have.

I think now is the time that a company with better programmers steps up to take the "best sandbox RPG title" away from Bethesda.

From? Rockstar? ....EA!? cmon guys, give these lazy bums some competition.

Hmmm I wouldn't say customers got stupider because Skyrim really hit mainstream and was way over hyped so alot of new poeple came on baord that didn't know Beths history and alot us were lied to.

Maybe he is just happy to finally get an optimistic comment about Skyrim on the PS3 rather than the pure pessimistic hate he has been receiving.

I say American mainly because this company is located right here in Maryland. The american approach to problem solving, or western approach, is typically deal with the immediate symptoms of problems and not the source of problems, as in give a quick fix. A more Eastern approach is to solve the root without treating so much the symptoms.

This is more easily seen in the medical practices.

I can agree on that.

Pretty much I'd just say, they could spend a little more time anolyzing their own product. I'm sure you could get free volunteers to test run games in a playthrough and report any major issues.

Well essentially thats what all of us are when we report bugs except we pay to volunteer, but I mean before it gets to us lol

This is what happens when game companies get too greedy and try and launch multi platform games.

Look what happened when Square-Enix launched Finial Fantasy across both platforms. The game stunk, the fans hated it and they hated themselves for releasing it. Admittidly they learnt from their mistake and managed to release a half decent sequal.

What ever happened to the days of console exclusives games. there are too few now-a-days. Xbox has the fabel series and PS3 has uncharted but thats about it.

Developers need to go back to basics, stop trying to cash in and release decent games for each console.

There is more than one exculsives for PS3 and Xbox such as Killzone, Halo, Resistance and Gears of War.
I am glad thier is less excultives because everyone should be able to play them games regardless of what platorum you chose.

I know there are more, it was just an example, but what did we do back in the day when it was PS2 vs XBox Classic? We put up and shut up now we have come to expect games releasing on both systems and therefore suffer because of it

Why do you complain that games are being released across multiple platforms? That's madness. Do you not want to play more games? The fault is purely the game company who doesn't put enough effort into their other platform versions.

God, I never thought I'd see the day someone WANTED exclusives.
