I think after the dust settles it will claim my #1 spot of all time. I know upcoming DLC will cement it. I for one dont think its over-rated, or over-hyped. It received steady '9.5's' instead of 10's because of bugs for the most part. Thats very fair. The game accomplishes what most other games only have one dimension of. The problem is that when a game like this is created, some people expect some sort of fantasy/medieval setting 'simulation'. These people should realize that you can't have it all. If you want long, detailed dialogue choices then go to a game where exploration is the equivalent of half a hold of Skyrim such as Dragon Age. For every missing 'feature' theres something else added in its stead with unprecedented detail. Good riddance to 'Armorer' skill when i can create various stuff at detailed forges and work benches. I look at most of the game in this way, appreciating the detail that went into some of the more mundane tasks present in the game world instead of shallow statistic driven menus. As for the true 'haters', I only imagine attention hungry nerds eager to criticize every aspect of the game, yet hesitant to offer opinion as to what is a better game currently on the market Rpg-wise. These same people also foolishly note how much time they have invested in the game, which is sometimes hundreds of hours. If i 'hated' a game so much, i would barely play it. Im not some Bethesda fan-boy, im just anti 'mainstream hating nerd'.
