Yeah well you may have stars but I have a custom rank!

Oh wait.

I will admit that the fact that mods don't have stars does weaken my 'remove the stars!' stance but I still feel that next to ranks they're redundant.

I'll make a really pretty moderator banner.

:whisper: Archie used to be a moderator here, but she escaped. The custom title is the only thing they can use to try and identify her out in the wild.

They will never catch me! :aaah:

Thanks. One more thing, it seems like there are no longer male or female icons on profiles anymore, or in the drop-down boxes next to people's names. Can that be fixed? I never really cared much, but it was always nice to be able to check before calling someone the wrong gender.

It is in the full profile, but not on the little arrow clicky thing next to your avatar in a regular post.

All my notes came over okay. Some were at least three years old.
All though the formatting is bombed all to hell. I'll have to copy it somewhere else to clean up and then copy back, I guess.

Well mine are as blank as my stare when I logged on. Could be cause your a mod?

I would also like to see the profile page contain the user's avatar along with the second picture that we can now add to our profiles.

It just means a lot more when you don't have 1346789 many stars under your name.

4 means more out of 6, than 8 does out of 10.

Plus, seeing the star makes users identifiable. Hard to do when you have 9 or 10.

It's a small but big issue.

I wasn't discussing number of stars, I understand that and as I said above the admin are aware of the complaint and at this point discussing the star numbers is really just beating a dead horse (especially with the weekend upon us).

What I mean is, why have stars and ranks. Both are representative of one's post count so if you have one the other is redundant.

Same here they are all there but some are formatted incorrectly and it will take awhile to fix.

Hmmm, I like the way the "insert a link" button has been changed. It's good to be able to edit both the link and the link text at the same time.

In your stats thing,if you're viewing a member profile it says you are-it used to just show the last page you looked at before going to a member profile.

People will know I'm stalking them now! :whistle:

Yes, thsi is something I noticed too that is quite annoying. External links should open in a new window/tab, not in the current window/tab.

1.Go to profile
2.Click settings
3.Click manage notes on the right.

It actually says you are viewing a specific profile (their name), so you can no longer stalk people

It has always shown you were viewing a profile, but the status is always slow to change, since you did, after all, just click on the profile. If you go to two profiles in a row or double-y go to yours you will catch it. That is nothing new.

I'm still a little disappointed that they added more stars to ranks. Layman now have one. You have to earn those stars! Having nine now just feels wrong...
