"You are taking us somewhere warm, I trust?" - Gotta love Kharjo. Months of adventuring across Skyrim and he STILL trusts that I will eventually take him some place warm.

"Woah woah woah woah! Watch the magic!" - Always reminds me of my first hours playing the game and I get all sentimental.

"I smell weakness" - Dremora Lords. Always on duty.
"I honor my Lord by destroying you!" - Dremora Lords. Always faithfull

Another favorite is Elrindir's comment at the Drunken Huntsman when my character stops in to buy and sell. He says something like "It's nice to see a sister Bosmer." Nice to have a positive racial recognition.

"And what can I get for you today, you miserable wretch?"

SOmething like that. I'll let you guess why.

I was running down an imperial courier to soak my blade in his blood. While running from he looks over his sholder and says this was a bad idea. What made me laugh so hard we were just outside of Windhelm and when he spotted me he took off running.

Markarth guard when I walked by with Mace of Molag Bol equipped "Get that thing away from me!! Get........IT.........Away!!". Or something like that. Cracked me up how he said it because dude was really freaked out by it. Like a jehovas witness or vampire reacting to a cross type of freaked out.

Probably not counted as random, but funny.
Guard "I need to ask you to STOP. That.... shouting is making people nervous."

(me, alternative reply option: 'whatever')

Guard "I've got my eye on you."

She flips it on female characters - something along the lines of warning you to stay away from her husband.

Not so much the line, but the timing.

While storming Dragonreach with the Stormcloaks, we finally subdued the Jarl with dead Imperial/Whiterun guards all around. Then a random Stormcloak walks up behind us, kneels down and says "I'll find out who did this."

"I have a lot of respect for the Restoration School"

followed by the next line

"Skyrim could use more healers"

Seeing as I'm a support character and have always delved in the arts of restoration of some kind(i.e. the Healer) I like both of those lol.

Yep! I've gotten that comment from a merchant in Windhelm.

OK folks, I was playing today and may have misheard this. Walked up to the smithy in Dawnstar and got within talking range. I pretty sure I heard him say "Looking for a dagger or do you want a Claymore" as in Claymore antipersonnel mine. I did a double-take when I heard that. Maybe I've played too much SOCOM and MAG :ermm:  .

Also, was in Rorikstad and a girl ran up and said "If you beat up my sister, I won't tell." Had to laugh since the two girls had just ended an argument.

Well, claymores have a long illustrious history in battle - from Macbeth to "medieval" CRPGs. You will also see things like "bastard sword" (can be used either one-hand or two-hand - and hmm.... not sure there IS one in this game) as well as oddball variants of daggers - like stiletto, sgian-dubh etc. (neither of which are in this game either - in fact, daggers in this game are just that, daggers). Oddest thing is that even though I've had the blacksmiths say that about claymores, none of the two-hand swords in the game are called that....

I just left a huge underground dungeon full of Falmer when I see Mi'aq the Liar on the road outside of the entrance. The first thing he says is:

"M'aiq knows why Falmer are blind. It has nothing to do with the Dwemer disappearing. Really."

I had to Wiki the line to make sure I heard it right.

Hmmmm. Next time I take a character into a Dwemer ruin I'm going to have to check the palms of their hands to confirm this. :ooo:

I don't think there are true bastard swords in the game, but I've seen images (loading screen for sure and maybe ingame) of 2-handers with leather at the base of the blade near the hand guard...sorta' bastard-like.
