:::digs up post from other thread:::: Where I said:
"Actually, out of the dozen or so people I know playing this game across all platforms, I don't know a single one who has played more than a dozen hours without seeing some glitch, issue, freeze, or lag. In fact, on these forums I'm willing to bet the person who claims they've played the game with no issues is either one of three things - not very far in the game, in total denial, or one of the luckiest bastards on the face of the planet. In fact, most journalistic sites have now posted separate articles acknowledging the glitches, but somehow stand by their ratings - which sounds incredibly contradictory to me. Maybe it's just me, but the logic here just doesn't add up. "
Is there anyone out there who's honestly playing this game without seeing any issues, at all? Really, I'd like to hear about that incredible luck, because it'll be the first I've heard it if someone is actually being honest about it. And I'm clearly not just talking about PS3 here.
@Linkale - yeah, come back and say that again when you're at 1 FPS and trying to fight off three bandits and a dragon. I'm sure you'll be all candy and roses about it.
@gomer - Too bad the autosave function breaks the game too, or we wouldn't have to remember that.
@Oakshin - this is precisely my point. While the issues may differ, there are major problems on all platforms. It makes me wonder how these "judges" and "reviewers" get their jobs and keep them when they totally ignore such blatant fact.
Edit: @The Nobodies - Metacritic scores are often skewed by the users, but this is precisely the point of the topic. How does Skyrim get such high ratings with reviewers and metacritic despite being plagued with bugs? Luckily IGN recognized that it's bad enough on PS3 to not be included, however it is on the PC and XBox lists, indicating that the lag is their only real concern, and not the MQ breaking bugs, textures issues, broken stat calculations, numerous and frequent crashes, or any other number of issues I could name. Skewed a bit? I think so.
