Oblivion. Anyone else remember the quest when you were stuck in a house with people searching for "treasure?"

Whodunnit? Summermist Manor

Deja Vu?

Took me 2 hours to find the Morag Tong HQ in Morrowind.and weeks to track down and execute writs...and dont get me started on finding the webspinner artifacts...nothing has compared to that since.Maybe Hitman and Assassins creed. As for the Dark Brotherhood, Oblivion hands down...a 10 year old could have written a better plot than anything in Skyrim...with the exception of the lighthouse...you know which one :P. And the more i think of it...the only reason i continue to play Skyrim...well having an elder scrolls watered down to a glorified action rpg, mixed with poor shoddy writing and bugged more than a 10 buck trick, is still better than having no new elder scrolls to play :( ... man thats depressing. and ill get the dlc anyhow... for the same reason. at least untill the Witcher 3 comes along...

There is nothing about Oblivions DB quest line that is better than Skyrims in any way. Skyrims is superior in almost every aspect, from scope to enjoyability. The characters are written better, the quest are more fun, the overall arc is better, and the huge scope at the end is phenomenal.

Skyrim>Oblivion hands down.

They attack you when you sleep. Not really the best http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:TR-quest-Dark_Brotherhood_Attacks.jpg, but it will give you an idea. I wore a common robe over this and a wolf helm.

Why would anyone expect that? Skyrim is 200 years in the future..

The antagonist of the Db of SKyrim WAS WAY better then the one in Oblivion, Not too spoil anything but HE IS SUCH A BADASS. "Splendid, shall we get on to the matter on hand?"

Not exactly the same spot but I meant a similar guild. The factthat it is in shambles changes alot of it.

Nice, I love it. I have slept twice once in the spymasters house and once in the cornerclub and no attack

Oblivion. The Dark Brotherhood didn't feel like a group of murderers to me in Skyrim. Just another guild looking to make some coin. They were boring.

I'm assuming you have the GOTY edition or you have the expansion? They attacked me as soon as I installed it, because I play on PC. For xbox they wait until you are level 6. Be careful about when and where you sleep, because they hit very hard - even the lowest of them.

Haha, I'm really immersed in my Oblivion game, I've been posting on the "Character Updates" thread over in the Oblivion forums too, nice group of members there. I might check out your new blog as I liked reading your Skyrim blogs and I've only played a couple hours of Morrowind so it could be interesting.

You cant join, but there encountered in the moraq tong quest and the main quest of tribunal.
And there not cheerful people who talk about killing in the name of Sithis.

Originally, I planned for my Dunmer Assassin named Figgin Marvayn to arrive in Morrowind (back story of course) and then becomes the Nerevarine granting him immortality. Then he pisses off Azura and Azura sends him to Cyrodiil to contend with the Oblivion Crisis. Even though Lore suggests the Nerevarine went to Akivar, that will be my cover to escape his duties. Then after the Oblivion Crisis goes into the Jerrell Mountains for 200 years because he is having a hard time dealing with his lonely life, only to be forced out of hiding and caughtup in Skyrim and the return of the dragons. Now the only caviat is that now I am playing Arena and Daggerfall as well and I think I might try to incorporate those storylines as well. not sure. I am haveing TES overload.

But the DB in any game doesn't compare to the Morag Tong (in my opinion). The only good thing about the DB in Morrowind is that you can kill them, and keep on killing them because they respawn.

But I am not sure about worshipping Mephela. I am so dear to Sithis
