What we really need is "manbearpig" Something like below.

There was no need for that nonsense.

Does it say they don't? Volkihar was never even heard of before oblivion.

Its the appearance i like and potential powers it could have, flying would be complicated due the towns needing to be loaded.

Would rather not have that carbon-copy of the bat guy from Underworld: Evolution in-game. A hefty upgrade to Skyrim's vampirism in general would be preferable.

Well they could have it if you fly into a potential town like Riften, Solitude or whatever...You could be prompted the option to enter or not, If you choose not too, It could simply turn you around.

Its not a carbon copy, it looks nothing like markus. There are other vampires that have transformed into a more similar appearance Dracula, Crispin Grimes, etc

It's a mixture of Marcus and Dracula from Van Helsing.

Pretty easy to see where the inspiration came from even if it's not exactly the same. There isn't any mention of flying bat vampires among any of the known vampire clans or dramatic transformations like that so it'd be random and an obvious attempt to cater to fans of that crappy franchise. Also applying lore from other vampire stuff outside of TES is kind of a moot point.

It doesn't say in lore that they can't look like that either.

I wrote a thing about this in another Thread which talks, more or less, about the same stuff. It talks about flying Vampire Lords.

Now, I don't agree with the flying part, but the things that could potentially be replaced with flying fits the lore and would make being a Vampire great.
Werebears would just be another Werewolf. Okay, the appearance might have changed, but everything else is the same.
Out of the D.I.C.E video, I thought the Perk Tree for Werewolves would be a brilliant alternative.

Alot may not agree with me, but in my oppinion, it has good potential.

I'd rather see some decent vampires, as opposed to a rehash of the system from Oblivion, that is exclusive to the vampires of Cyrodiil.

A few warring clans, and of course the Volkihar. In all their feral, icy glory.

And +1 for Werebears to.

Werebears would most likely be physically stronger than werewolves.

True. And to balance it out, they could make werewolves faster than werebears.

Yeah, but what's the point in making two things which are the same? I get that a Werewolf and a Werebear are different in some ways, but a Perk Tree would make that difference in strength to Werewolves so there would be no need for Werebears.

It's a good idea in terms of species of "Were" creatures. As in, Vampires have different clans which ultimately have different abilities, but Werebears are just the same as Werewolves, just slower and stronger.

A better option would be to have more perks when not in the "Werewolf" state. Like, you do more damage outright with all weapons, even if just a small amount. It would be a better option than a Werebear. Making the most of what is already available, or improving what is already available is the way.

Yep, werewolves currently do run faster than a horse, so maybe they would eb faster than werebears.

i think a good way to differentiate werebears & werewolves would be their abilities. werewolves could be like in bloodmoon, very fast, sneaky, and agile. werebears would be "tanks", able to dish out and take a lot of damage. the "charge" they showed was good, the werebear could easily bowl over enemies.
basically hes the "2h" werebeast to the werewolfs "dual wield" as far as combat goes.

as for vampires, i think having seperate strains would be a great idea. this could tie into different clan quests like in morrowind. volkihar are more powerful and brutal, but must always hide their face in towns. the order vamps would be as we all know & love them. but i think some general improvements could be made. combat feeding, for instance. i like the "hover" ability of the vampire lord too.
sort of like dragon priests. makes you resistant to stagger and move a bit faster.

were perk trees would be amazing, really bring it out as a playstyle. i think the once a day limit should be removed, or at least make it a perk. wild weres would be epic, just make them rare. hopefully we will see a dlc involving them.

oh, and give them some scaling... scale with armor & weapons at least. feeding from creatures would be lovely too. at the moment its not much fun to transform unless you're taking out a group of bandits or rogue mages.

I agree but werewolves shouldn't be weakened from their current strength, simply make werebears stronger.

It's silly that Werewolves at the moment don't level anything up for the kills you do. You could ravage a bunch of bandits in the transformed state, but if you had only killed them with a one handed sword or magic or whatever, you might have increased that skill a little higher. The kills are wasted if done as a Werewolf. A Perk Tree for the Werewolves would make those kills worth it, knowing that you could level your Lycanthropy skill higher, gaining more damage and more transformations per day, eventually being able to fight 2 dragons at once with still half your healf remaining, dishing out loads of damage, while mastering your transformation so you can transform as many times as you want.

Epic.

You can already transform as many times as you want if you get the ring of Hircine.

Yeah, but you have to put the ring on, then go to the Magic menu, then equip the power, then go back to gameplay, then use it.
If you have unlimited Transformations without the ring, the power can be favourited and be selected with ease. just like favouriting a sword or a spell.
