Why are console players getting less than the PC players?

Next time you should learn to read the things in the parentheses.
All that is about is that the developers made the choice of develop it for Xbox and make a port for everybody else? They could just developed it for PC? What does that have to do with Sony and PS3?

Too bad the game isn't a masterpiece before the good mods are out.

Er, the whole thing was supposed to be read in a mocking tone. I apologize.

As for the advantages, I think today's gaming market is making it so PC has to be treated like any other console (except that it's like 2x the cost for the PC) and I think that's wrong. If people want consoles, that's fine, but don't leave us PC gamers here out to dry. GTA IV was a prime example of a game that should've been GREAT on PC. Instead, it was so buggy it was virtually unplayable without PC mods (I got 10 FPS on my PC, which can run Skyrim at 60 FPS on High graphics, and 40 FPS on Ultra-high). Bottom line: Either make games console-exclusive/PC -exclusive, or spend time on your PC ports to make them GOOD.
Ah, dang. I'm from Norway so english isn't my first language. I got the mocking tone after you told me  Of course PC is better, but they can't optimize so much that everyone has to buy a supercomputer. The way I see it in a perfect world is: Skyrim is developed separately for PC, PS3 and Xbox. But if not, it should be developed for PC and ported to the consoles. Although I have to say that the PC is not SUPERIOR in the sense that it makes me want to buy a PC just for gaming again. But it is the best of all the "game-machines" available.

Alright, go ahead and judge something without watching it. Because I KNOW you haven't watched it.

Because EVERYBODY that hates it hasn't watched it.

But that's not the topic, and I'm not going to derail the thread because you're an intolerant jerk that jumps to conclusions without knowing anything about what you're judging beforehand.

OT: While the PC has mods and the console, I think it's a fair trade for the large cost of computers, today. Especially if you try to keep up to date with all the new hardware and everything coming out.

I have been saving up for a computer for the past few years, so I may buy one that can run Skyrim. But Skyrim is completely incredible without mods or the console, so it's not like console gamers are missing out. Despite what PC elitists may think.

Oh, but I have watched it, and to me it's just a show for kids, nothing more.
But you're right, this isn't the place for that discussion.

Because Consoles are like 6 years old and dont ever support modding?

Littlebigplanet would disagree, but that's specifically built to that purpose. I think its also pretty heavily patrolled for potential breaking mods/levels too, which I dont' see Beth doing.

People, Consoles can "Handle" the consolse, the reason you cannot use it is because the console changes files. Console hardware is not as far behind PCs as everyone is trying to make out, sure they are older but no big advancements have come out in computing technology in the time they have been out.
Exactly, I know people who used the console on fallout new vegas on 360, and had absolutely no problems. Excuses excuses.

It is easier to develop for the 360, and port to the PC, than Pc to 360, because massive amounts of dumbing down and content being cut would be required. There is a reason a lot of companies now a days refuse to make games for PC.

I didn't spend a lot. I bought the parts and built it myself. Just replacing a couple of parts a year and the motherboard every 4-5 year isn't a problem. It's also cheaper than the total price for console games in a year.

Let me put it this way, most console gamers are GAMERS, simple as that, they prefer a wide variety of games, rather than 2 or 3 specific series. God forbid they make games like TES just because we want to play them, you guys can obviously mod the game . so it fits your needs or suits your playstyle, if it bothers you THAT much. Sorry if Im sounding negative, but im sick of all these self righteous pc gamers saying they shouldnt make TES for the console. You dont like the way the company makes it, fine, fix it yourself. Simple.

People are annoyed because consoles are destroying what "could have been" on PC. Most console games also gets dumbed down or streamlined, whatever you would call it, because consoles are directed at younger kids too, and they don't want any challenge where you have to use your brain, only mindless fun. And before you say anything, I do own a ps3 and a wii, because some of my favorite games are released for consoles only.

I'm also hating all the self-righteous console gamers claiming that Bethesda has to cater to them. Keep in mind that Bethesda only expanded the series to include consoles with the advent of Morrowind. Morrowind was a PC game first, console port second, and that's why PC gamers liked it. Morrowind capitalized on everything that made PC gaming great, and then scaled it down so console gamers could enjoy it too. Skyrim should have done a similar format: made the console game, and then scaled it up for PC so PC gamers could enjoy what they'd payed for. Instead, Bethesda just did a straight-up port, and this made much of the fan-base feel betrayed that PC gamers were being hung out to dry while console gamers were being catered to.

You get the CK, so you can do whatever you want with it, could they have done what you said, yes, but then bethesda would have had to do more work, and I think 5 years, is enough.

But WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO FIX THE GAME for Bethesda. I'm sorry if that comes off as being elitist and demanding, but we should NOT have to use the Creation Kit to fix what Bethesda let us down on. The Creation Kit should be to expand the game, NOT to fix what we think is wrong. Look at Oblivion: that game, in its Vanilla state, is not worth playing because of the horrible leveling system. PC mods fixed this leveling problem, but that doesn't mean it didn't exist. This is why I hate that Bethesda expanded to the console market. Console gamers think that just because PC gamers get mods, it's all good. It's not, and Bethesda has to realize that if it's going to go console first, then PC, then it had better cater to both markets equally.

Um, equally does not mean giving one market more features. Simple definition of equality there. The game is not broken by any means, it is just not what you wanted, but why should they care what you individually want? They try to cater to everyone, and if it does not suit your tastes, then you at least have the option to make it do so. You get more, whether you like to admit it or not. And yes you do sound elitist and demanding, no point in arguing with people with an attitude like yours. IF it not what you want, and what pc users want, its wrong, and you should get more. Call the waaaaah police. Dont bother replying, cuz im off.

We really need better resources and Einteins if Consoles are gonna put PCs to shame. But because we don't, consoles can't hold as much memory and process stuff faster than a PC. I hate that, but I gotta live with it.

They could be able to, but then they'd need really expensive tech in order to be able to make every console both powerful and reliable. PCs sacrifice stability for power - that's why PC releases tend to be buggy and that's why when porting to PC from console, you really have to focus on your PC port to make sure it's good. Rockstar's GTA IV, as I've said above, dropped the ball with their PC port. Skyrim's is actually a really good PC port, it's just that the game's menus and other little nuances have been obviously streamlined for consoles. If Bethesda had only taken the same care with porting to PC as they had with making the game for Xbox (Skyrim was an Xbox to PC/PS3 port), then I'd be quite happy. I'm not angry with them, just disappointed that the PC port didn't turn out so well.
